How do you force users to process payments on your website instead of in person? Some local users may decide to pay when they see the merchandise in person, therefore bypassing the store commission system.
You can't force them what you can do is minimize it through on site benefits when purchasing like points or Sales... To encourage ppl to use the website to buy.

Hello. I am glad you asked this question. I have been on a project that is using Dokan for multivendor and it needs this for about a week now. I have looked stack overflow, WordPress community etc. No one could help. I don't want my vendor store to show the products directly. I want it to show categories (Of the products) and when a category is clicked, it shows the products therein. Apparently, this is not a function in the plugin yet. Please, kindly give me pointers when you get the solution. I will be immensely grateful. Thank you again. I wanted to ask if there was a way to automatically transfer money to vendors when they request for a withdrawal instead of having to go to pay pal and then do it manually as you showed in the video. Also, I'm in Ghana, a country west of Africa. Here, instead of credit cards or paypal etc, most people prefer to use MOMO. This is actually much more easier to use since you just have to use your mobile number to register a 'bank account' with your service provider and then you have your money on your phone. In my case the buyers and sellers will prefer this option to pay pal for instance. i don't know if there's a plugin like that that i could add.

According to the website to eligible for free shipping $80 minimum oder is enough. But shipping is handled by vendor in this case how to handle, both vendors can't do free shipping as each of them minimum order required is $80. from customer point of view it is free shipping....How to handle this?
Hi Darrel, my website will be a directory and a marketplace but for the first 6-12 months, it will be a directory that I build up myself and then businesses can claim their listing in the directory if they want. Once the site has gained traction, then I want to promote/incorporate the marketplace. Could you please let me know what theme you would recommend for this? I believe I'd be fairly confident to build most myself (I have another sucessful directory website but I need a more improved theme) but may need to hire your services to complete before going live, is this something that you offer please?

I'm working on a multi ecommerce myself with some creative twist, and learning as I go. Then I recently I like your 2024 ecommerce, you using Blocksy, but I keep astra and free elementor version, Dokan. the problem, I can't seem to figure out for weeks is why my basket sliding animation that are comes from the right side swing all the way to the left fast and back to the right to show 40%. Any suggestion why the basket / cart when click on would swings out from right to left and settle back at right?
Hey! The cart animation issue might be due to a CSS or JavaScript conflict. Temporarily switch to a default theme and disable all plugins except Elementor and Dokan, then re-enable them one by one to find the conflict. Ensure everything is updated and check the browser console for errors when clicking the cart. This should help resolve the problem.

There is a vacation mode. But are you talking about buyers not buying online during a brick & mortar store's closed hours? If that is the case I would say let them keep buying...that's the beauty of the internet. Maybe I'm missing something in your question though.
@@lydialutz thanks Lydia. I actually found a way to specify store opening & closing times and the system automatically shuts off the store after hours. In my case, its purely a local delivery concept so we can't have any overnight or beyond purchases. It has to be same day order & delivery/pickup.

you COULD use cross sell feature. So you can take 1 product, and add the products you want to recommend at checkout as cross sells. You can also try this plugin ( but i havent tried it yet) wordpress.org/plugins/woo-bought-together/

No, the vendor doesn't need to have WordPress for you to connect the API for live booking availability. As long as the API is accessible, you can integrate it with your WordPress site to fetch live availability data from the vendor's system.

@@lydialutz thanks Lydia. I actually found a way to specify store opening & closing times and the system automatically shuts off the store after hours. In my case, its purely a local delivery concept so we can't have any overnight or beyond purchases. It has to be same day order & delivery/pickup.

you COULD use cross sell feature. So you can take 1 product, and add the products you want to recommend at checkout as cross sells. You can also try this plugin ( but i havent tried it yet) wordpress.org/plugins/woo-bought-together/

I have a brief inquiry. Concerning the Dokan Multi-vendor plugin, is there a way to enable a vendor who maintains their own website to collaborate with us on an eCommerce page for product listings? In this scenario, if a customer makes a purchase on either our Multi-Vendor platform or the vendor's site, would the purchased items be reflected in the vendor's inventory on the Multi-Vendor dashboard?
Additionally, is it possible to integrate the products listed on the vendor's website with the same checkout process, allowing customers to complete their purchase without leaving the vendor's website?

No, the vendor doesn't need to have WordPress for you to connect the API for live booking availability. As long as the API is accessible, you can integrate it with your WordPress site to fetch live availability data from the vendor's system.

I just tried to upload to Divi and got this message:

Theme installation failed.
