| Macau, China, May 30, 2019 - A gritty display by Belgium today saw them overcome Thailand with a straight-set victory 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-23). The one-sided scoreline was by no means a fair reflection of how the two teams performed however, and Belgium coach Gert Vande Broek showed his admiration of the kind of volleyball that the Thailand team play.
Belgium coach Gert Vande Broek said: "It is great to finish this game week with an important win for my team. I have huge respect for the Thailand team because I am such a big fan of the way they play volleyball, and I believe that their tactical combinations and the way they search for solutions in both attack and defence are great for the promotion of volleyball. Both teams are so evenly matched and 3-0 is really a tough scoreline for Thailand because both teams deserve to win today."
Belgium captain Ilka Van De Vyver said: "We are very happy with the win and it is very important for us to get three points. I think we would not have been able to win without our serves today. Our opponents played very well with lots of tactical variations, but we overcame them with our serves."
Thailand coach Danai Sriwacharamaytakul said: "The Belgium players received the ball excellently today. We tried our best to mount a comeback but we were not able to defend against their attack."
Thailand captain Nootsara Tomkom said: "I would like to congratulate Belgium on their win today. They put up a good display today and they overpowered us with their serves and attack."

เมื่อวานรับลูกได้ดีทุกคนเลยยย เหนียวมากกก ยอมรับเมื่อวานเล่นได้ดีทุกคน ถึงจะเสียไป1เซ็ท แต่ก้เล่นได้ดีกว่าตอนมองเทรอส์อีก
ชาติอื่นเขาสร้างทีมมี2ชุด แต่ไทยเราสร้างแบบค่อยเอาดาวรุ่งมาเติมที่ละตำแหน่งถ้าคนเก่าๆยังเล่นได้อยู่ ก็เล่นไปเลย ซึ้งผมว่าดีนะจะได้เข้าขากันเพราะเล่นกันมานาน ชาติอื่นมันส่วเด็กๆในรายการไม่สำคัญ ทำให้ไม่สนุกด้วย ไทนสร้างทีมเเบบนี้ดีแล้วครับ

Malika #15 is too weak for international games, she can't play the way other teams and her team mates can play. Malika should be replaced by a player that deserves the open spiker slot.
@KPOP FANATIC Pimpichaya is on Japan, she has her training and conditioning there bcoz she got injured last 2 months on their training but I think this month, she'll be able to play already :)
Malika is so strong before. But her age is affecting her. Pimpichiya is the best option.
Hope Thatdao will appear very soon in the middle. She is the only one capable of replacing pleumjhit.
