My only advice which I truly think could help would be to try putting the bag in the center of an open space, and work around it, practicing combos and trick shots mostly. Because most of the time, your sparring partner isn't going to be happy about you circling around them, so you want to practice that before people start trying to make you stop doing it. Make sense?
It makes sense, but let’s be honest, it’s a useless piece of advice when this guy is obviously doing this in one spot in one room because he already isn’t capable of having the space you’re looking for. When you live in a shared, small, or apartment space it’s just not feasible to have a dedicated area for a heavy bag to hang.
