newjeans have actually been very stable lately, especially in their last few university festivals they've performed in (they performed in 7) and in the sbs k-wave concert, even in those you watched, they sang live. during their break, they also kept expressing how much they've been working with their vocals and dancing so i'm sure that's why they've showed great improvements in terms of stability in live vocals. they're going to release the behind the recording of bubble gum and how sweet in june 13, i always look forward to those since i adore their raw vocals sm!
Hyein is on hiatus due to a foot injury (micro fracture in her toe) sweet how in the music bank interviews her members were always including her (even did an live encore with a cardboard cutout of hyein 😂)
I love Hanni’s singing, i really love her vocal and tone, but i think she tends to get nervous and sometimes has too much fun on stage that her attention wavers. For this comeback, i feel like bc of the collaborations with the brands, their styles are more minimalist and retro ish but i do like the newjeans signature sound. Beside their main songs, I highly recommend you check out from newjeans: Our night is more beautiful than your day (My Demon OST), Beautiful restriction (A Time Called You OST), GODS (LoL collab), and all the covers so far on the their channel, lee mujin, and IU’s palette For non musical content, you can check out Jeans’ ZINE playlist on their channel and as well as some variety shows they’ve been on.
for me....NewJeans are the ones that make me dive into Kpop...initially i love to listen to blackpink....then IVE ......NewJeans was my 3rd Kpop group which then make me into a full bunnie....love the chill vibes of their songs...most kpop songs tends to be too powerful vocally but NJ differ
