Very nice !!!!! I had a pair of to cattle lorries. Good solid dependable machines and in the unlikely event something went wrong you didn't need a degree in theoretical something or other to fix it!! I really miss having them.
Hi there matey, I drove many of these wagons and in my opinion they were beautiful wagons to drive ,, due to ill health I surrendered my job 6 years ago and I do miss it so keep on trucking matey , John dearden,,ex job driver 👍👍
What a truck lads my father had I couldn’t count how many of them in the 80s and 90s and the TL another very good truck he had loads of them to. They are hard too see it’s nice
Yes it was better we had one with a leyland comet engine it was nothing but trouble it had a 5 speed or 6 speed gearbox not sure but electric two speed the 330 would out pull the leyland with the same load he allways said the 330 was the way to go with a 12 ton unit. Keep the old girl going it brings back great memories. Jeff
thanks to those people who commented on my video merry Xmas and a happy new year to one and all driving a old lorry is something very special I'm very very lucky 'although I have not the money of the big hauliers I know and remember them days something you don't get sitting behind a desk or being handed down a big haulage concern not that I'm jealous everyone to their own and if it saves a lorry from rotting away then its served its purpose but I was very very lucky and saw the Bedford's commers dodges guys Leyland's etc all I know is we should savour any stories the people who ran these motors could past on same as America with their brockways Jimmy's peterbilts Mack's Ford's chevs Oshkoshs autocars kenworths etc today I drive a merc atros 44 ton compared to a merc 1633 new generation tractor it fails miserably but then that's because I like gears same as scania give me V8 143 with manual box every time.......yes I know I live in the past but there you go

Proper lorry bring them back! I hate lvecos DAFs ,but Bedfords fords AECs and Seddons scammel lovely

great truck..I used to drive a tk Chinese 6 for Scottish & Newcastle brewery great days no big brother in the cab..you just got on with your job
I worked for s and n in the garage in belfast we had 8 twinsteers they were replaced with T L urban artics great days

My dad had a TK unit in the 60s it had a 330 engine 4 speed gearbox air 2 speed axle it was so good in its time.
yes jeff the tk was a quite a good lorry in its day we had one with the 330 engine... the air two speed was far better than the electric job ..
