WTF.... You truly put hot GP into the apex of the root canal? ..... There is a reason why we do measure WL and having regular GP so it stops 0.5 mm before to avoid overflow of GP outside the apex. This method you are doing is insane. No wonder why I seen a few of my patients got treated abroad and coming in with GP outside the canal.
GamelutioN did it hurt? I went to the dentist today and that's the prodecure the want to do in both of my upper front teeth. Root canal + post and core and a PFM (porcelain fused metal)

my dentist would not do it...he said i do not enough have enough tooth left to install crown therefore had to be extracted. :( maybe i should go and see an oral surgeon?

Screws are for reinforcement , so that biting load is transferred to bone via tooth without breaking the weak tooth structure
