    Thanks for the video, it has made my mind up and I will be ordering today (a little bit of a delay due to customs clearance, but hopefully a couple of weeks max). I especially liked the installation section as I will probably be scratching my head when it comes to the disk brakes on my Specialized Rockhard Sport mountain bike.

    In the printed instructions it says to have the cut out for the cable pointing down. It looks like at 11.31 yours is the wrong way round. I'm about to fit mine and suspect water may get in if fitted the wrong way. Perhaps it doesn't matter.

    went for my first spin tonight 30km mostly on 20%assist but tried 40% assist on hills certainly makes getting up hills a breeze..display showed 3bars when i got home does that mean i used 3 bars or i have 3 bars left,im new to all this...btw if your thinking of buying im in ireland and had to pay 200 euro extra because of brexit tax so be warned. Clive and Claire were willing to pay me back the 200 but it meant they were at a loss so i told them not to bother id take the loss.any idea what miles id get just using 20 to 30%.thanks.

    Nice video. I had the Voilamart 1000W rear wheal kit on my steel bike and it was very heavy. I also had many punctures due to the weight, so now I am thinking of going for the 250W front wheel kit. How is the power on your bike? Is there issues with grip on the front? Do you get many punctures on the front? Thanks

    • @davesolobiker5601
      @davesolobiker5601  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This kit is so much lighter but does not pack the punch of the voilamart one . I have not had any punctures on mine so far ! I run scwalbe marathons on mine .
      I use it on the pedal assist mode as thumb control was not that good , it does me fine and great at helping up the hills.

    I have just finished a ride with the front hub conversion kit. I set the speed limit at 12mph and the assistance at 15%. at the end of the ride the battery showed 100% charge. The question is does the hub recharge the battery when riding faster than the set speed limit? I would be very interested in any replies as this feature, if it exists is never mentioned. The motor was working just fine during the ride,

    • @davesolobiker5601
      @davesolobiker5601  ปีที่แล้ว

      To my knowledge the hub does not recharge the battery if going faster than set speed . How far did you ride ?

    • @davesolobiker5601

      No it’s not powerful enough to rip the wheel out , it does have washers with lugs on which need to be locked into the bottom of the forks .

    Hello,
    Do you still have this kit? How are you sattisfied woth it? What is the top speed and the max range with full charge battery?

    • @davesolobiker5601
      @davesolobiker5601  ปีที่แล้ว

      no I have upgraded to a dedicated e bike now , but the kit is ideal for starting out , the range was always factor dependant , wind, hills etc but average around 25-30 miles . top speed was a hard as you pedalled as it was an assist system .

    Great review. I also watched your other video on the Voilamart kit and it seemed quieter. How do they compare sound wise ? I'm leaning towards getting the easifit kit but dont want a loud motor.

    • @davesolobiker5601
      @davesolobiker5601  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks yeah it seemed quieter as the voilamart was rear wheel motor and my mic was not picking up as much noise . But the easifit kit on the front picks up more noise . I would say they were similar in noise to be fair . Atb Dave

      @Mickster71 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, how do you find fw/drive compared to rw/drive? Grip, steering etc

    • @davesolobiker5601
      @davesolobiker5601  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The F/W drive kit is so much lighter on the bike and is more like a traditional bike just pedal with assistance , the motor is only 250w so handles well. The R/W kit was much more powerful at 1000w but also loads heavier, so any stuff off road you do you need to be careful the power doesn’t cause you to spin easily and also feel the bumps more going faster .

    Hello, I am thinking to buy this kit before that I have some doubts may I ask you ?
    1. How is the battery life mean per charge (PAS) or (throttle)
    2. 350w it's enough for some hilly area or instead I go for normal ebike conversion kit because I am getting at same price but normal one comes 1500w with cheap type battery (Chinese one)
    3. How is your experience till now?
    4. I am student and with studying I do part time work as a delivery in bike so for me mileage and power matter a lot.
    Thankyou in advance and sorry for asking this much questions

      It states around 35 mile on a a battery, the front hub is only 250w so if you are in a real hilly place it might struggle . I had a 1000w kit on my old bike which was way more powerful but about 4kg heavier.
      I am 6 month in and so far happy with it , lightweight and enough power for my needs . I run it on PAS always at around 50/60% and it’s fine .Atb Dave
