We mentioned Descript in our apps video as it is great for creating transcripts for your video. I do think that it is ok for very basic editing or even editing if you’re worried about using a real DAW. Personally, I like having more control over my edit which is why I focused on more traditional audio editing software packages.

Yup, I've swapped over to a newer mic since this video was made but back then I used a condenser mic which was way more sensitive to plosives.
Really appreciate you guys not recommending Descript in any way. Such a mess of a program.
