Hey thanks so much for putting this together - just loaded up an EverdriveGB X5 with LSDJ and my .sav files. Your video was the best reference I could find to get up and running. Um, quick point about the Pokemon TCG2 footage. The patch you used appears to be one of the many incomplete ones, and the name still in Japanese on some captions kinda lets that slip. There's a finished one out there (that uses a machine translation but not in a crappy way). Grimm Translations is working on a non-machine one however, they also have Shiren 1 GB almost done!

Hello, I am having issues with my Everdrive Gameboy X7. It runs perfectly fine on a DMG and a Gameboy Color. However, whenever I insert the cartridge into my Japanese Super Gameboy, the cartridge can not be read. I have tried my copy of pokemon yellow, Megaman, and Pokemon Silver (which all are North American copies) on the Japanese Super Gameboy and they work fine. I am not quite sure why the Gameboy X7 Everdrive is not being read, I have spoken with other users and they have informed me that their copy of the cartridge works fine on their super Gameboy. Am I doing something wrong, if so it would be great to have a little help to figure out what the issue is with my copy of this Everdrive Cartridge? • @Wil_Dsense

I've just received Everdrive X3. Now I've just put the exact file on the FAT32 formatted SD card, exactly as instructed. As soon as I turn it on (on the Gameboy color) it display, after the GAMEBOY loading screen, it says OS ' OS loading...' then about 1 second later it displays SD IO error. FFS thought this was supposed to be easy. Anyone know what's happening or a suggested fix? thanks in advance
edit: Btw the SD is Kingston CANVAS (does it matter which SD card?) Interestingly, I notice that when press the reset button after this error described above, it resets, the 'OS loading' screen stays for about 5 seconds instead of 1 second and then says SD card not found. Turning off and on again does the same as the first step.

I recently got the EDGB X7 and, while it works perfectly for the GBA, I've been having issues with it running on the NTSC SGB. It only works when the menu "button" on the cartridge is held. Otherwise, the SGB only shows a cartridge read error. As soon as the button is released, it freezes, even if a rom is loaded and running fine. Does anyone know why this is the case? Could it be the micro SD card?
