We are happy to announce a satsang with Sri. Nochur Swami on the auspicious occasion of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi's advent day (the day when, as a boy of 16, Bhagavan reached Arunachala in 1896).
Avudai Akkal was a mighty jñāni who lived in Shengottai in the 18th century. Ramana Bhagavan grew up listening to Akkal's advaitic songs sung by his mother, and her influence is very evident in some of Bhagavan’s compositions. We are blessed to listen to this discourse on this mighty saint and her powerful songs by Sri Nochur Swami.

பஞ்சபௌதிக பஞ்சவிஷய பாபபுண்ணியம் பொய்யடா
பரபிரம்மானந்த ஸுகம் பரமாத்மா மெய்யடா (3)
ஜாதி வர்ண குலகோத்திர ஆசிரமாதிகள் பொய்யடா
ஸத்தியஞானானந்த ஸுகஸாகரம் நீ மெய்யடா
சிரவண மனன நிதித்யாஸன சித்திவிப்பிரமம் பொய்யடா
சின்மயமே தன்மயமாம் சிந்தையற்றயிடம் மெய்யடா (4)
ஜாக்கிர ஸ்வப்ன சுஷுப்தியாதி அவஸ்தைகள் பொய்யடா
தரங்கபேன புத்புதங்கள் தனக்கில்லை மெய்யடா
கர்மேந்திரியம் மனம் பிராணன் சித்தபுத்திகள் பொய்யடா
ஞானரஸ சித்ஸ்வரூபம் அறிவே நீ மெய்யடா (5)
ஞாதுருஞான ஞேயத்வாதி திரிபுடிபேதம் பொய்யடா
ஞான விஞ்ஞான பிரகாசானந்தகனம் மெய்யடா
அஸ்தியாதிஸ்தூலதத்வமும் ஐயைந்தும் பொய்யடா
அசலமான சித்ஸ்வரூப அன்வயம் நீ மெய்யடா (6)
விச்வன் தைஜஸ பிராஞ்ஞ விராட் இரண்யகர்ப்பர் பொய்யடா
விவிதநாம ரூப ரஹித விமலபோதம் மெய்யடா
ஸ்தூல ஸூக்ஷ்ம காரணத்திரய காரியங்களும் பொய்யடா
ஜோதிர் மயானந்த ஸுகஸ்வரூபம் நீ மெய்யடா (7)
அனுஷ்டான கர்த்திரு கர்ம காரியாதிகள் பொய்யடா
அகம் பிரத்திகாத்மா உற்று பார்த்தனுபவித்தால் மெய்யடா
ஜனனமரண சோகமோக ஸுகதுக்கபாதைகள் பொய்யடா
தேசகால வஸ்துகிருத பரிச்சேத ரஹிதம் மெய்யடா (8)
நிரம்சத்தில் அம்சமுண்டோ நிஜம் பாராய் பொய்யடா
