    GT means business this year. Key is building the program the right way. The staff knows how to attract talent and develop the players, plus the players get a great degree for life!🐝

    Brent Key is cooking something in Atlanta. They're sitting at a top 20 class for recruiting right now. He's a former Tech O Lineman. He's building from the lines of scrimmage out. Our team is TOUGH. If the wins keep coming, Key might be up to something

      Not true, their DC kept them in a light box with 2 high safeties as if he was afraid of GT throwing the ball. I guess no one told him all they do is run. He put them in a bad position all game. Outnumbered at the point of attack.

    I am a die hard FSU fan. I will say this there was nothing flukey these guys just beat us. The refs let them play (I think only 4 penalties total) and the PI they called against gt I am not even sure was catchable but it was hard to tell if the defender actually moved him out of his route enough. They executed their game plan perfectly. My prediction was it would be a tight game at half and we would pull away. It’s hard to do when touch the ball one time in the final 21 minutes. Which again that was Gt playing their game. I love you guys and the way you cover the game even if I disagree with your opinions last year. I wish people would stop talking about the snub both fsu fans and the media. That was last year. This is this year. I’m excited for the season and we can all agree it’s exciting CFB is back!!

  • @brandonew2863

    The way Tech played at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in that game was a night and day diffence from last season. FSU has been talked about as having an offensive and defensive line that are among the best in the country. Georgia Tech controlled the line of scrimmage the whole way after the opening drive. The gameplan was brilliant. That was pointed out. But, you can't execute that gameplan unless you can run the ball and stop the run. Brent Key said day one when he was named head coach that he would build a tough, physical football team. He has. Well done.

    As an Irishman it was a pleasure to be able to cover the game and it was such an amazing day. Props to Georgia Tech for an incredible performance all round. I was really by impressed Haynes King and FSU found it really hard to deal with him on the ground. His legs was able to get them out of a lot of bad situations.

    The transfer portal has really leveled the playing field. There's a lot of talent that can be matched, and it's a quicker fix than recruiting and developing high school players.

    • @jimjason5146
      @jimjason5146 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      It goes the other way, though. FSU's problem was only using the portal. They will have to get another QB transfer for next year if they want to be contenders. It's an unending cycle: recruit.

    • @saldiven2009
      @saldiven2009 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree with Jim above. The portal is absolutely not any sort of guarantee; FSU had a lot of success with it last year, but it doesn't seem that same success will exist in 2024. Often times, the reason they're leaving that other program is because they're not good enough to get play time there.

    • @aridreams567
      @aridreams567 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Imma disagree with the two below (only slightly). Georgia Tech had only four returning starters on defense. That's it. Everyone else left for the portal. It's important to remember that the transfer portal isn't just what helped GT but it's been recruiting. GT has an actual qb, that makes recruits listen.

    As a Clemson fan I have a spoiler alert for you. There is a reason Coach Norvell didn't turn DJ loose. He SUCKS. He cannot hit a barn when he throws deep. He gets lead shoes and eyes down receivers and throws it 15 yards in front or behind them. That is how the season is going to play out. He will never win a game for that program. He might manage okay enough that other players can play well, but he is terrible. FSU will go 8-4 mark my words

    GT wins this matchup 9 out of ten times. Florida state has better players but they are over matched in the coaching department. Mike Novell is grossly overrated

    THIS FSU HOMER ALWAYS PIC FSU. NORVELL HAD 1 GOOD SEASON IN 5 YEARS WITH EVERYONE COMING BACK. WILL BE EXPOSED AS A FRAUD WITH AVERAGE TALENT AVERAGE QB BELOW AVERAGE COACHING STAFF. OL DL LB SLOW AND SOFT. PATHETIC

    FSU was way over hyped. Travis is gone guys, and 9 other starters went to the nfl. Hello!!! Smdh. These experts are hacks, they make the local weatherman look like a genius. Easiest money in the world. Joke of a “job”. I have no respect for these “experts”. Anyone who does is a dupe. My neighbor can evaluate the college football landscape as well as any of these hacks, and he has a real job.

    NOT HATING.. just being honest.. Fla St looked mediocre at best. Flashes of great running game.. that was is. So it's going to be a come down to earth year for them. GT was the same.. mediocre vs mediocre.

    One Win against a super hyped FSU team and GT is now a favorite to win the ACC? The overreactions and fairweather nature of these analyst is amazing to me. So Clemson, Miami, Louisville, NC State all are forgotten? Oh wait, till next week's results 🙂
