How to Install a Chin Spoiler for a Mustang (2018-2023)

- We are going over the steps to swap out the factory chin (front) spoiler to an aftermarket chin (front) spoiler on a 2021 Mustang GT (w/o Performance Pack). This is an easy process that can be done in your driveway using a service jack and jack stands.

Get some spacers one there unless you are already planning on new wheels/rims. The car is looking great! A flush(or even a tiny, tiny poke) look for the stance would add a lot. Makes it look wider and more muscle.

Looks good, mine didn’t turn out like that, the flap on the right has gone in towards the car paint even touching, my car has the PP2 pack which us standard in Australia which apparently it needed a small modification to install but doesn’t look as good as yours.
Need a 140 mph video of the Chin Spoiler at speed. See how it flaps or sturdy
I know it holds very well at 130 mph. I would expect it to hold with the number of mechanical fasteners involved.

I installed mine yesterday but I have a gap on the sides (not where the plastic clips go) but right in the curve, even though I tied up those screws as hard as I could, I’m not sure what the problem is

I believe the screws for the Chin Spoiler are: W716345-S450B and the Low Air Deflector are: W715060-S450B.
How much should a service line this cost? If i have my own spoiler and live in California
I have no clue. Its going to vary greatly between shops. Some can knock it out for a reasonable price, others will charge an arm and leg.
At stock suspension does the splitters scrape often?
Not really. Just need to be more aware when parking up to a curb. Some sit higher than others
Will this work with a performance package?
The Chin Spoiler will not. However, the installation process is similar

This is only for the 2018-2023 S550's and not for the 2015-2017 S550!
