What terrifies me most of crocodiles is their patience. In Australia tourists are told not go near some waters at the same time & place each day. If you keep a routine a crocodile will see this and take it's time to be in position to strike at the right moment.
To anyone who's suffering depression, anxiety, insomnia and other mental health problems, you are not alone. I feel you. You are so brave. You are doing so well. I'm proud of you. I'm sending you a virtual hug
@dawnlee866 There's literally nothing a Mama deer or elk can do to defend against a hungry and determined bear that's much stronger, larger and has claws and teeth. As sad as it is, the mother deer would likely become a meal herself if she tried to save her baby. Or become fatally wounded trying. Not only that, but baby elk or deer have very little scent and they cannot run fast enough or long enough yet to outrun a bear so their best defense is lying still in the brush and hoping the bear doesn't find it. If the mother stays close the bear will know she has a baby nearby. So it's the best defense to walk away or even try to lure the bear away from her young. Nature doesn't play by our rules either. She can have more young, but not if she dies too. Some animals are predators and some prey. It seems cruel but that's nature. Without enough food, a Mama bear's cubs may not get enough milk to survive and put enough fat on to survive winter. Often, one life taken saves others. Nature is about a balance between predators and prey. I hope that helps.
Predators often are smarter than their prey. Prey animals play the numbers game. There's more of them so the species survives being preyed upon. For example, the wildebeest herd is over a million animals so even if hundreds die crossing the river, they will be fine. They are seeking the fresh grass on the Serengeti plains where they will all give birth in a few weeks, bringing the number of the herd up to a million and a half so they can withstand the loss of some babies to Predators. Nature doesn't play by our rules. Predators have to be smarter to outsmart the animals they hunt.
the tail walk from the crocs is truly amazing, and the jaw pressure behind it is scary, and to swim as fast as a dolphins in a short distance makes these the ultimate predator
At least they aren't treating us as children and blurring scenes. Nature can be brutal but that doesn't mean they should blur the graphic scenes. Just put up the viewer discretion graphic footage advisory about animals preying on and eating other animals.
People dont put this into perspective that the videos we watch here are already finished products of a dedicated filming team that is patient, professional, well researched and has a logistical muscle to piece all this together.
23:18-23:32 & 24:11-25:41 I recognize that footage anywhere. It’s from that National Geographic Documentary from the mid 1990S “Thunder Dragons”. I don’t think Thunder Dragons is out on DVD in America these past many years. That goes double for a dozen in a half of the other National Geographic Documentaries on Modern & Prehistoric Animals I have in mind that also have yet to be released on DVD in America after all these years as well.
The interesting formulation - a ruthless predator. And if imagine. You will begin to feel sorry for all, and you will die from hunger. Predators do not eat a grass...
@titus they are not “considerably” larger, however they are larger. They are absolutely not more “aggressive” than Nile crocs though. A lot more recorded attacks per year on humans from Nile crocs than Salties. Yes, you can say villages from Africa rely on the water much more, but that still doesn’t make my statement any less true.
Well then you will be very impressed how big salt water Crocodiles get as they are the largest of the Crocodiles & have the biggest bite force of all land predators.
The storage space does allow you to store a helmet. I recently purchased this bike here in Australia and when I first put the helmet in the storage it didn't fit but then I changed it around and it fit perfectly. I do have a question though, with your side stand, does it spring back up as soon as you move the bike? My Kymco Like may have a faulty stand but I'm trying to find an answer online. When I get on the bike and take the pressure off the side stand, it springs back but which is annoying, because when I stop, I have to keep my foot on it till it touches the ground, otherwise it'll just spring back up. And when the side stand is down, the bike doesn't turn off which I found strange so I am not sure if there is a piece missing.

Thank you for these videos. This brings me back to the time I was on a felucca on the Nile River and the hippos were aggressively opening their mouths. I have never been so scared in my life and I could hardly wait for the boatman to get me to shore.
I can't decide if it's cool or just plain creepy af, that the anaconda was using its forked tongue to smell its prey while being submerged underwater...
Please can you upload next time more older wildlife documentaries of Nat Geo Wild like Africa's Deadliest, Caught In The Act, Built For The Kill, World's Deadliest, Hunters And Hunted, Wild 24 and Top 10 The Ultimate Countdown.
Rivers are not just highways for life; they’re also the ultimate reality show where hippos play fierce guardians, crocodiles throw dinner parties, and every sip could be your last! Imagine a riverbank where the locals are not just thirsty but also on the menu!
Wow those gazelle went in after one of the family went in, knowing the danger, three of them went in after the first after they saw that… love knows no boundaries
You know what would make these docs better? If they would add a hyperbolically suspenseful soundtrack and find a narrator that could really sell the melodramatic. That would be awesome.
Rivers may quench thirst, but they also host nature’s most unexpected VIPs-like hippos, the angry lawn ornaments of Africa! With tusks that could rival a saber-toothed tiger, these so-called "vegetarians" are the real party crashers on the riverbanks. Who knew sipping water could come with a side of surprise danger?

Those days on cable tv, scanning channels then found an interesting show on Nat Geo.
The video starts with the most amazing shots of a river.
And it starts out demonstrating its failure to be accurate by referring to water as an element.
Thank you for these videos, they are incredible and can be seen on TH-cam.
That ending was insane. The power of the bite you need to have to crush a turtle shell
My favorite channel i really really love nat
imagine being one of these animals and nat geo just films you a free ultra high definition highlight tape lmao
It must have taken quite a bit of intellectual superpower, to come up with something like this...
I can't imagine how they managed to get a close up of that crocodile underwater.
NatGeo crew consists of real professional and daring, badazz cameramen. Best channel since buttered bread.
Buttered bread has a channel?

Your transition at 1:50 is so smooth and professional. It makes the video so enjoyable to watch!

Watching the predator animal hunt and attack their prey is a reminder of nature's unforgiving laws.
It's amazing how much a mother bear loves it's cubs. It leaves a meal to protect it's young ones

😂😂 Lions don't mind some rotten meat. Neither do crocs so I guess they have about the same manners. Lol
How they took close videos of deadly predators under water is sometimes confusing
Simple: they took most of these video scenes from older wildlife documentaries.
Believe it or not there are people who get in the water with them .
@@MarcoSuperNova2784 whether old or new how do they get close to them underwater especially the crocs
Underwater cameras or personally
Camera traps that are triggered by motion, and lots of time going through video and editing.

How did the Hippo die from bite marks on his back? I don't get it. Thats enough to kill another hippo?

Is it possible it had a worse wound that wasn't seen on video?
They need to explain that to us lol. @@pango-y8j
Eaten by a crocodile, they smell blood in the water and attack because they see it as an easy free meal.
Maybe due to internal injuries? Two “trucks” going at each other has gotta leave engine issues, after all…
