Xunantunich and Caracol Mayan Ruins - Belize

Xunantunich and Caracol are two Mayan Ruins sites in Belize. We stayed over night in the Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge, near San Ignacio. This was the best place we ever had been in our trips. Wonderful views and amazing staff.
The two mayan sites are spectacular and, contrary to the ones found in Mexico, these places were almost empty. Caracol has an enormous area in the middle of the rainforest. While we were there we saw Howler monkeys, toucans, parrots and so much more bird species. It is a most see in Belize.
