The net cost of one fortuner is around 25 lakhs while one govt department s buying it for 50+ lakhs including tax, this remaining 25 lakhs is like paying to the govt itself in the form of tax revenue. The storage space on the dashboard in front of the co-driver is very practical and does not detract from the beauty of the dashboard. The model coming to India is also desire to have this facility.

I wish here in UAE, they also included seat memory function, remote start, ventilated seats, active noise cancellation & and a bit more power in the engine on Limited edition.
The kind of affection with endeavour is that fasbeam channel is receiving 2 vlogs on same car. Yes but the engine is different i realised it later.
As much as we want the Endeavour in India, one thing is clear; even if Ford does bring CKD cars to India, they won’t be able to undercut the Fortuner’s pricing in the market.
And the Next-Gen Fortuner will be coming in 2025-2026 as well. At that time yes the Fortuner will be more costly than the Endeavour (if Ford does bring it back).
The problem Ford faced in India was quite clear, the Keyboard warriors wanted a Ford over the Toyota Counterpart but when it came to signing the dotted line the buyers who were actually buying the car prefer Toyota over the Ford counterpart.
And once trust is lost, it’s damn hard to regain it…

too many Endeavour on road and sell of Endeavour was never the issue it's everything else they were sinking money on
things like suzuki and hyundai was too much and ford's american moto of making sturdy cars was making they costlier than competition, and people with no knowledge of cars bought hyundais over ford
@chromewarnock968 The biggest reason is expanding mindlessly on the basis of assumptions. The Sanand plant was a disaster. They went for the king Maruti and got annihilated. VW and Skoda despite low sales are still profitable. Executives of Ford and other American companies were a bunch of dunce.

ford ecosports's 1.0 eco boost was one of it's kind in indian market which was powerful and fuel efficient but people didn't care.

Everything's fine just the interior design could have been better. Specially for 3rd and 2nd row also the graphics of screens.

A big SUV such as Everest or Fortuner costing upwards of 50+ Lakhs does not have enough third-row space and still, people cringe over the third-row space available in mid-size SUVs such as Kodiaq or Meridian.

In Australia, SA, UK, Thailand, Philippines and the Middle East the main mid size SUV / light truck competition is between the Ford Ranger / Everest / Endeavor , Mitsubishi Triton / Montero sport / Pajero sport and Toyota Hilux /Fortuner.. In India sadly we have only the Fortuner whereas the other 2 are way superior.. ❤

I don't think they should launch larger SUVs for the Indian market. USA has extremely wide roads while Indian roads are relatively smaller so I feel the current sized SUVs are enough here we don't need larger ones just improve the power and reliability here
