I always think of the amazing performance of Tokio Hotel's "Monsoon" at the EMA 2007 th-cam.com/video/IGTesIwGyDI/w-d-xo.html and Taylor's Version of it *a few months later* just feels like a rip-off to me. I always ask myself why they chose that finale instead of something unique (especially since they used it at the Fearless tour at every show).
Imagine if TS became famous at her current age instead of a young teenager? I don’t think anyone would believe she was naturally this beautiful if we hadn’t watched her grow up. (That talent and that face in one person??)

I actually can’t hear any debut song without feeling like I’m in the backseat of my moms PT Cruiser with my little brother kicking his feet, in his car seat next to me, singing along. So cute haha.

You will see them both in most of her live performances. Many of the guys in that video were with her for years.

Speak Now is great for her very young age at the time but Folklore (especially Evermore) are easily her best lyrical and most vulnerable work yet. Please don’t forget about them!! It took her to a whole level of deserved respect as a songwriter among some of the greatest that ever lived in my opinion.
