Wicked bike! I get mine (YZ 125) Apr 1. It's on lay away until then but It's payed for. This video and some of your others (Balls out) are a big part of the reason I choose the YZ 125. From your skills I can see it's fast enough for me. Keep on killin' it.
i just got my new 2001 yz 125 today and i love it! it has new sparkplug, graphic kit and pro circuit and its bottom is built like a yz 250. goes way faster than stock.
@Trizzik yes, 125 are for small person and lightweight,,, go 4 stroke with a yz250f, you'll have more torque, more compression and everything that makes a 4 stroke, a 4 stroke!
@Xx360noscopezxX also if you dont know about 2 strokes here is something you need to know. if the jetting is to rich the bike will bog down after not being revved much, but if it is stock or a little lower than stock you can ride on trails with less of a chance of bogging down and your bike flooding. BUT if you didnt know this you need to keep the revs up on 2 strokes that how they like to be ridden, so if you plan on just on trail riding then you should get a 250 or 450 4 stroke, more reliable
Depends on if you're a new rider and if you want a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke. i'd say get a used 2 stroke yz 85. it'll be plenty powerful enough to keep you happy.
@heliooable well, in our place here in the philippines, resleeve and bore-up/bore-outs are common ^_^ ...you might want to increase the frequence of maintenance though since your block is now of higher displacement therefore probably producing more power than usual
@NotherBlackMotoGuy ya the hesitation is typical of most two strokes those. they do have the same power banc. the 125 has a little more bottom end but not a whole lot. id definitly go with the 125. you will grow out of the 85 very fast. the 125 will definitly pull on the 85. 125's are extremely light and you can flick them around very easily. If youve ridden for a while go with the 250. 85s are for beginners, 125s are stepping stones to bigger bikes.
@gdog48001 Honda's version of a 125 four-stroke is a crf100f. It's a slightly smaller bore than the ttr, but most people say they have better power. None of those four stroke trail bikes or pitbikes could touch this one.
@Xx360noscopezxX im 16 and have been riding for about 8 years now, only 4 strokes, so switching from a bike with a max of 12 hp to one with 50-60( rm250 fmf pipe and 110octane gas) can be intimidating. But you will be intimidated at first, but after 5-6 rides you will get it down and you will have an incredible amount of fun 2 strokin. if you can find a yz 125 used under 3000, start it up ride it, make sure nothings wrong with it and buy it.
i jus turned 19 and my yz125 is enough for me to handle. it takes some gettin used to, ive only had mine for goin on two weeks but i jus started bac ridinso it all works out. jus stay in ur comfort zone, get used to it and dont show off.
@turdburger3977 yz125 is more of a all or nothing bike, u cant really ride it under the powerband, u can but its not very good. But on a 2 stroke work is more required, but work on a 4 stroke is more expensive but not as often, 4 stroke u can just keep at 1 rpm range, so its ur choice
Nice vid, i love this , but i want a bike to ride like you , on the wood and the trail , not to do big jump , so want you think is the best for me yz 125 , 2t ou yzf 250 ?? I'm begginer ,just riding for fun and i'm 5 and 10 , 145 pounds
yull be fine just bee carefull i moved up from a ttr 125 L to a 98 yz125 and i got scared a few times but im pretty used to it now its been about a month too.
@locosrayo yesss! i went from xr 80 to a nice 2004 yz 125. amazing bike i love it more than i could love a human child... my reccomendation is that you try one yourself and see how you like it. the only problem with 2 stroke 125s is that they dont have much torque unless your in the powerband soo if ya know how to keep em in there and you love that sexy sound of a 2 stroke, get a yz 125 : D if you aint mixin gas you aint hauling ass.
@Mr23Metallica Your asking what bike you should get ? well your strength doesn't really matter on a "big" bike 125 ,250,450,500 ...Its about skill , you buy a bike to big and it WILL get away from you and you will be hurt (doesn't matter if your a mini hulk trust me) You should start with either a 125(2 stroke) or 250 (4 stroke) , They will have way way way more power then that cheap 110 you had and will have enough power for you
I'm into buying a YZ 125. Though im worried of the power a 125 have compared to a 85. I drove a 85 a last summer and thought that was somewhat crazy. But on the other hand im waaay to big for a 85. Im 180 lbs and 6'3". Any ideas?
@DopeBoyFresh8727 i ride a yz125, you have to arrempt to get the front end off the ground but i doesnt take much, like if your just cruising going thru the gears it wont pop up but if you pull back on it it will, like i said you have to try to do a wheelie other than that it wont
use to ride the track where i live. then it was like everyone who lived along the tracks went into linch mode. starting gets flats left and right. then i noticed nails or tacks on the tracks next to a lot of houses.
do you have issues with fouling when the bike is low in the rev range for a little while, and what jetting do you have is it just stock, or is it a lean jetting, because ive had problems with a rm250 bogging down after ripping with it for a while, and if I even just barley dump it it floods and wont start for 20 minutes and im wondering if messing with the fuel air ratio might help.
Yes ! im 16 5'6 and 105 pound (I still grow) so you can ride this bike. Take it easy when you start and It will be Ok. Sry for my bad english im french from canada ;)
@FratusDillon id probably say get a different bike, some beginner 4 stroke, then upgrade in like a year or 2 to wat ever u feel like, to a yz125 i guess, thats exactly wat im doing
@larshenrik91 go with a 125. they arent too bad. i am 6'4, 195 and have a 250. it is a lot more power than i need. With the 125, you will learn to get used to it real quick.
nice bike and nice ridin man lol i wish i still had a bike because i sold my kx 65 a couple years ago and now i want a bike again your luckey u got some nice places to go lol well see ya later
nice video man i rock one of those yz125 to just twisitn it everywheres lol, i got no vids or nothing cool. i liked this video its different from what i ride
eyyy I'm getting a yz 125 for Christmas this year with my own money, basically I'm buying my own Christmas gift lmfao, but I'm for sure i will have plenty of money left over to buy after market parts. I'm already buying new plastic's and a graphic kit and just other stuff like a pro circuit throttle tube for better throttle response.just stuff that doesn't concern the engine, I've riddin quad's since i was practically born so I don't know enough to put random shit that I think will give it more
Daniel E. you're wrong. I'm 5 4'' and can ride a yz125. I just finished rebuilding mine and today was my first day actually ever riding a dirt bike and I did fine. Just adjust the sag and have one foot on the ground
I'm maybe going to get one like this on wednesday, but when i drive my friends cr 85 i loose what gear I'm on :P Does a yz 125 run better then a cr 85? Sry for my bad english..
@yamaharider4ever9 im 13 and 5'2 and like 100 pounds and i have an 04 yz125 and its a fucking bat outta hell if all the bikes parts are running well. honestly, i think that upgrading from the 85 to 125 wud be plenty, i've ridden both, i can't imagine a 250. if I were you, unless I would be drag racing, I'd get the 125. I doubt it would ever get boring considering it has so much power.
@fartsmellsfunny96 Not entirely true.. While the YZ125 wins in a drag race, assuming the riders are the right size for their respective bikes the CR85 has a huge advantage in cornering. It has a shorter wheelbase and is a full sixty pounds lighter than the YZ125. This is why when I had a YZ85 I was able to lose my bud on a YZ250f. The bigger bikes are much less manoeuvrable.
@kx125rm yea it would fit u fine im 14, 5' 4", and 110 lbs and you might actually want to get a 250 but i love my 01 cr 125 it fits me perfect it might be a little big but i dont even notice it and whenever i take it to the track i can beat people with 250F's its really a fun and light bike
i would go with the 125 to start out, especially if its new. the newer bikes have alot more power. if your near MA i would love to sell you my suzuki 175. its an awesome starter bike with tons of extra parts, and its geared down so you get more low end torque. its worth about a grand with all the extra parts, but if your interrested, ill give it to you for $650. this is an awesome starter bike, but im getting something bigger. please let me know if your interrested or if you want more info
@NotherBlackMotoGuy bigger tires, bigger frame, more powerful engine, i dont even see how they are "basically the same" i think the 125 quite a different animal. thats like saying a 125 is the same as a 450 cause they are close to the same height.
@shmiffy24 i kno man. 250s are brutal bikes. not really good on trails for the sake of its weight might lay on your legs. iv fallen couple of time due to being scared i might go too fast and stumble. what makes me stumble is when i stall due to not reving it much (dont want bike flying on a tihgt space woods) and the the bike is too heavy that me trying to save it is an issue. i just let it go on the last sec. just to dampen the fall while not get my legs under the bike
Watched this video like 2 years ago and still remember it when I seen the mini pic! Great video man love it
Wicked bike! I get mine (YZ 125) Apr 1. It's on lay away until then but It's payed for. This video and some of your others (Balls out) are a big part of the reason I choose the YZ 125. From your skills I can see it's fast enough for me. Keep on killin' it.
I miss my '02 YZ 125 :( Fantastic bike that NEVER let me down. LONG LIVE 2-STROKES!!!
Man, what a boss. I got a yz 125 a couple of months ago, and there's no way I'd take it that fast on rocks. Props
i just got my new 2001 yz 125 today and i love it! it has new sparkplug, graphic kit and pro circuit and its bottom is built like a yz 250. goes way faster than stock.
this video makes me so happy just because this has to be the sickest riding spot ive seen
best go pro helmet video on utube, let alone the trails were awesome
You're a great rider and you have a great bike. Keep posting videos man
Awesome! I love this video!
I have yamaha dt 80 lc2 (1996) ,but YZ 125 is my dream.. I love motocross ,enduro and mountain biking ;)
Really interesting to watch! Seams you`ve made a lot of such a trips to form all this tasty small paths!!!!!!!!!
@MRLUDDIES
I would recommend being between 5' 6" and 6', but I've seen people taller and shorter than that riding them.
Nice vid and test track, I have one yz125 too, but it's from 1995 and still have that power.
That absolutely insane.... I FREAKING LOVE 125s!!!!
@heliooable well, in our place here in the philippines, resleeve and bore-up/bore-outs are common ^_^ ...you might want to increase the frequence of maintenance though since your block is now of higher displacement therefore probably producing more power than usual
this video made me remember why i miss my dirt bike

this is the best yz 125 video on youtube!
awesome video,
btw i just bought a 2005 yz125 and how many hours do you get out of a tank?
and whats your fuel to oil ratio
thanx:)
nothin like hittin neutral when ur tryin to get it on! sweet vid
nice vid..what mount do you use for your gopro?
@gdog48001 Honda's version of a 125 four-stroke is a crf100f. It's a slightly smaller bore than the ttr, but most people say they have better power. None of those four stroke trail bikes or pitbikes could touch this one.
@ANONYMOUS1747 Well if you are also new to 2 strokes. It might not be a good idea. 2 strokes take a bit more upkeep than a 4 stroke.
brillent vid mate looks sweet were u ride but does it ever get boring cuz were i ride like forest bits like tht but much smaller
Nice, and is a 85 2 stroke better than a 125 4 stroke?
its going great man, im doing my first race already in September, and i just started not to long ago, and man it is a great sport
i love that 4 stroke sound
great riding,
I am 5.5 feet the bike will be to big or not?
@flamesfan4eva true!!!!ya go for it but i would recommend getting an older 125 then move to a newer one
@Xx360noscopezxX im 16 and have been riding for about 8 years now, only 4 strokes, so switching from a bike with a max of 12 hp to one with 50-60( rm250 fmf pipe and 110octane gas) can be intimidating. Great riding man how much the bike cost???
And im 5'5 feet the bike will be good for me???
my favorite yz125 vid on youtube
i am just wondering out of all the graphics out there you choose mazda ones
q hermosa moto, te felicito!
i jus turned 19 and my yz125 is enough for me to handle. it takes some gettin used to, ive only had mine for goin on two weeks but i jus started bac ridinso it all works out. jus stay in ur comfort zone, get used to it and dont show off.
sweet video man, makes me miss my yz 125. after watching this, my jetski is up for sale, hahah im getting another bike.
Talk about urban enduro, how do you find those trails in the middle of a city :O also is it legal to drive dirtbikes on road in the states?
@Habrdo no they arent... all motocross bikes are manual
@jmanrunner his head isnt stable its just that the camera is fixed to a solid point moving with the camera
Nice vid, i love this , but i want a bike to ride like you , on the wood and the trail , not to do big jump , so want you think is the best for me yz 125 , 2t ou yzf 250 ??
I'm begginer ,just riding for fun and i'm 5 and 10 , 145 pounds
I'm going to pick up my YZ 125 next tuesday, looking forward to it :)
would you recommend this bike to some who has never ridden a two stroke bike
@kx125rm should be you might just have to lower suspension a little bit
hav u ever rode a 250 if so which do u like better the 125 or 250
looks awsome. where is it?
j'aime trop j'ai toujours aimée les yz125
il et bien le tien !
yull be fine just bee carefull i moved up from a ttr 125 L to a 98 yz125 and i got scared a few times but im pretty used to it now its been about a month too.
nice vid, igot the same gloves too, i dont like how the dots things on fingers fall off so quick
@locosrayo yesss! i went from xr 80 to a nice 2004 yz 125. amazing bike i love it more than i could love a human child... my reccomendation is that you try one yourself and see how you like it. the only problem with 2 stroke 125s is that they dont have much torque unless your in the powerband soo if ya know how to keep em in there and you love that sexy sound of a 2 stroke, get a yz 125 : D if you aint mixin gas you aint hauling ass.
i was planning on getting a Yz 125 or a Cr 125. wich one should i get?
if you are in the power band dont use the clutch to shift up just let off the gas.
@NotherBlackMotoGuy i currently have a yz 125. and ive ridden friends cr 85's.. are you talking about powerband or actual power?
@Mr23Metallica
Your asking what bike you should get ? well your strength doesn't really matter on a "big" bike 125 ,250,450,500 ...Its about skill , you buy a bike to big and it WILL get away from you and you will be hurt (doesn't matter if your a mini hulk trust me) You should start with either a 125(2 stroke) or 250 (4 stroke) , They will have way way way more power then that cheap 110 you had and will have enough power for you

i might get one of those next month!
I'm into buying a YZ 125. Though im worried of the power a 125 have compared to a 85. I drove a 85 a last summer and thought that was somewhat crazy. But on the other hand im waaay to big for a 85. Im 180 lbs and 6'3". Any ideas?
what kind of mount system is on these helmet cams? do you have to drill any holes or anything?
lovin the way you ride it!
just thrashin around havin fun!
nice video (Y)
@DopeBoyFresh8727 i ride a yz125, you have to arrempt to get the front end off the ground but i doesnt take much, like if your just cruising going thru the gears it wont pop up but if you pull back on it it will, like i said you have to try to do a wheelie other than that it wont
@EricsKTM85xc basicly yes. maybe a 1/2 inch difference
use to ride the track where i live. then it was like everyone who lived along the tracks went into linch mode. starting gets flats left and right. then i noticed nails or tacks on the tracks next to a lot of houses.
@ZombieBeast16
Thanks for the clearance, was just wondering how the laws differ in States and EU :P
do you have issues with fouling when the bike is low in the rev range for a little while, and what jetting do you have is it just stock, or is it a lean jetting, because ive had problems with a rm250 bogging down after ripping with it for a while, and if I even just barley dump it it floods and wont start for 20 minutes and im wondering if messing with the fuel air ratio might help.

@yz85camron the ttr125 doesnt even start to get you ready for a yz125. the power band will shock you
@Xx360noscopezxX how long have you been riding, and if you have been riding what bike or bikes have you owned
@larshenrik91
go with a 125. they arent too bad. i am 6'4, 195 and have a 250. it is a lot more power than i need. With the 125, you will learn to get used to it real quick.
@TheDwoods14 What year is your yz? I got a 97:)
nice bike and nice ridin man lol i wish i still had a bike because i sold my kx 65 a couple years ago and now i want a bike again your luckey u got some nice places to go lol well see ya later
Nice bike! Ive got one almost identical except for the stickers!
nice video man i rock one of those yz125 to just twisitn it everywheres lol, i got no vids or nothing cool. i liked this video its different from what i ride

Daniel E. you're wrong. I'm 5 4'' and can ride a yz125. I just finished rebuilding mine and today was my first day actually ever riding a dirt bike and I did fine. Just adjust the sag and have one foot on the ground

thats crazy of the location and how u ride on that peace of land around the city, you ever get caught?
i currently have a yfm250r and was wondering how much faster this would be!

less torque but more wild. you'll enjoy it. have fun!
what does that sticker say on the left side of your shroud? mozzela or something?
i like more when the camera is placed on the top of the helmet
Are these bikes quick?
i watched in full screen and everytime u hit somthing i flinched
@NotherBlackMotoGuy bigger tires, bigger frame, more powerful engine, i dont even see how they are "basically the same" i think the 125 quite a different animal. thats like saying a 125 is the same as a 450 cause they are close to the same height.
whats ur carb size ? dunno if the previous owner put a little too small one on my yz.. :S
verry verry nice :) year built?
@shmiffy24 i kno man. 250s are brutal bikes. not really good on trails for the sake of its weight might lay on your legs. iv fallen couple of time due to being scared i might go too fast and stumble. what makes me stumble is when i stall due to not reving it much (dont want bike flying on a tihgt space woods) and the the bike is too heavy that me trying to save it is an issue. i just let it go on the last sec. just to dampen the fall while not get my legs under the bike
lucky i wish i had a nice riding spot like that!
2strokes 4 life
I'm 14 5'8 and 140 pounds, would I be ok riding this or a similar bike ?
