Since I've started with PCGS I'm going to stick with them... but my goal now is to have two sets... a PCGS one and a CACG one, hopefully the same or better grades with my CACG set!
Some good thoughts on CAC grading here and clearly CACG makes sense for a smaller number of coins than with the other grading services. We did our first small round of submissions to CACG and had a 100% crossover of PCGS coins to the same grade and solid straight grades for raw coins going into their holders but we were extremely selective on the coins with most being crusty and undeniably original surfaced coins. We are wary of trying to crossover with higher grades as we have never seen it with CACG. We do love them for their polished submission platform and very fast turnaround - 2 weeks back in our hands for coins dropped off at a show versus 9 weeks for our last round of PCGS grading.
always love your content. Not really a morgans guy but that one is stunning. Not really sold on CAC grading yet tbh. I dont care for this endless cycle of "XYZ company is tougher so i prefer them" just creates an obnoxious race to the bottom approach
Lots of Cac details coins on eBay. Their details coins actually go for decent prices. Interesting about doing a crossover instead of sticker didn’t think of that. Also great point about Pcgs w Cac essentially being equal and imo maybe even a CH better. Two opinions are better than one right 🤷🏻♂️ I would only accept a straight cross on newer NGC w Cac coins or non Cac
Very interesting results, thanks for sharing

I prefer my coins in PCGS holders with CAC sticker combo. I think having two independent companies reviewing the coin is better than just one.
Definitely think the sticker cac will be worth more than cac in same grade.

I'll never use CAC grading they're doing a terrible job with coins I'll never buy a coin in a CAC holder or stickered
