They will start allowing Pakistani actors to come to India and maybe even allow Pakistani players to play IPL. This is a disastrous policy because the moment Pakistan starts regaining its economy, it will start its bleeding India into a thousand cuts policy. The thing which I like about Modi is his Pakistan policy. I dislike his Hindutva politics because the Muslims in our country are our brothers and it is our responsibility to protect them. The one thing which the BJP is scoring points is the fact that Muslims in India never condemn Pakistan on terrorism issues. Muslims in India should recognise that Pakistan is weaponising Islam. How can we even think of that question when country elects someone like Feku twice? Of course, elections are manipulated at highest levels, so nothing can really be trusted.
Bcoz his style of journalism is a bit peculiar and cannot be emulated by others without the immense amount of preparedness, topic study, incredible timing of communication during the interview and many more skills that this style requires.
Karan Thapar was the Journalist who interviewed the then CM Of Gujarat & the Present Prime Minister Mr Modi in 2007. When asked about a certain question on 2002 Riots. Modi asked for a Glass of water & walked out of the Interview.

Mr. Thappar, what you do is amazing. But sometimes, you need to hear your guest with full focus. What I noticed is that if you don't get the answer you wanted, you just try to cut it out their answer or thoughts on the process. Please, as a viewer, I need to hear their ideas or answers.

Karan Thapur is an excellent interviewer that I have a great deal of time for. However, he not infrequently oversteps the mark with his interruptions and his refusal to let the interviewee answer the questions he himself puts. In this interview, he has met his match with Derek O'Brian who refuses to let himself by brow-beaten.
I agree. I admire Mr. Thapar's close scrutiny and pointed inquiries. However, this one felt like he is at times more interested in getting his views out there than listening to the guest! On the whole, enjoyable and I think the coalition of India is getting a lot of things right.
Maybe time is an issue!

The most laughter television cast I've ever seen in my entire life ... We feel proud of ourselves when there's no great opposition but this is something beyond the great man ... we don't need a Great leader rather we need A True Leader who appreciates the whole points of democratic view not standing against the opposition, rather appreciated the opps and lead into forward the growth of every citizen in Country...
Watched the whole interview. Mr Thapar was actually raising valid concerns, it was as if he wanted the next alliance meeting to talk on those points.
If you listen carefully, throughout the interview he was actually helping INDIA alliance. Average listener might feel he was being juvenile in his arguments, but infact he did all he could to help the alliance.
Derek didn't seem as prepared for it though, he was answering on behalf of his party, but KT was throughout urging him to think from INDIA point of view. Just Genius.
Hope these points are raised and discussed in next party meeting in Mumbai.
D.O , his party & all other parties of I.N.D.I.A's only preperation in hurry is to defeat Modi but not with any other good intention for the country.

Mr. Karan Thapar is actually trying to help them (I.N.D.I.A) by saying "do not squabble in the public" because experience has shown him and again how Indian electoral behave and INDIA needs a very strong & united I.N.D.I.A to win the 2024 General Elections. What he is suggesting of attracting Mr. Natveen Patniak & Mr. Chandrababu Naidu is basically a good strategy & I think I.N.D.I.A alliance should consider it.

I have respect towards Karan Thapar but he is in an illusion thinking that Navin Patnaik is secular...and he has been in alliance with NDA for quite sometime now. What happened in Manipur has already happened in Orissa and the only difference is there was no open parade of women. What happened in Manipur has also happened in Gujarat. BJP lead states or partnered states have been experiencing these autrocities.

This is Karan Thapar for you - has made so called great politician walk out of his interview saying “Dosti bani rahe”. The way he questioned him.. I had a feeling that Derek will do the same but kudos to him for holding his ground.. he was unsure about a lot of things but still managed to face the direct questions of Karan.
Also I think Karan is a big reason Modi never does a press conference or gives interviews to real journalists anymore. He might be having some nightmares still 😂

His responses were balanced, not stepping beyond the mandate he has , yet assertive and confident about the awareness of the task ahead for the INDIA Plus Alliance , its action plans ahead to ensure its success in its objectives .

The Indian Voter, in spite of his still lingering poverty, illiteracy, has proved his mystic ability in the past to repeatedly successfully choose his Rulers who will ensure compliance with our Constitution and Diversity , adhering to the Parliamentary process, Institutions and healthy debates.
" Who the Hell you think You are Mr Modi" was a timely rejoinder to a PM who was skipping the sessions of Parliament and giving interview to media right in front of the Parliament building.. I'm a hardcore tmc supporter but I must say karan sir you totally nailed it. The way you framed your questions are just mind blowing. The sad reality of India Alliance is - they lack a one common pm face. If someone is thinking India alliance is united for rahul gandhi face. Then they are completely wrong. As more than 12-13 parties out of 26 parties of India alliance will not want Rahul to be a pm candidate.
Imagine if these kind of questions were asked to someone from BJP, but it will remain imagination because it won't happen.😅

I have been watching the interviews for some time but this was the worst one I have watched. Mr. Thapar seems to ask the best question and replying himself as he wish to listen, even before Mr. Derek could finish what he want to say. The interviewer should allow the interviewed to reply then you can put up your views and put up next question. Mr. Thapar should not be in Arnab's boot...

The narrative of 'hotch-potch' gathbandhan will need to be countered if required even by spreading sugary syrupy sweetness for each other, including those that may appear on the fringe!
This would keep the gates open for drifting in and more importantly raise the confidence of the fence-seating electorate.

For last few interviews I have observed that Karan is not letting the guest to answer or not letting them to finish.....it is degrading the quality of interview.

It's a captivating platform, and it would offer significant advantages if you could grant the invited guests the opportunity to express themselves fully, without frequent interruptions from your end. The constant disruptions while they speak tend to make the viewing experience less engaging. I'm curious about your approach to conducting these interviews. Did you discuss the questions with the other individual beforehand? I'm not implying that you shouldn't contribute, but from my perspective, it seems as though you're more focused on asserting your own voice rather than highlighting the interviewee's insights.
