If you didn't find out already, the taunts do have individual buffs. Left D-Pad taunts (crowd taunts) make your moves build more finisher and special meter. Right D-Pad taunts (Opponent taunts) make your attacks deal more damage. Up D-Pad taunt is wake up. Also, using block/dodge is super helpful against strike spammers like that Macho.
I cant believe 2K actually found a way to make an online wrestling game actually kinda fun. Way better then previous year's game that were just snapmares and stomps.
Submissions in this game are way too cheese. The pin system is way too easy. Can hit someone with 5 Finishers and they'll still kick out. But lock them in a submission and it shoots up like a rocket.

You know a problem with the submissions is that people will spam it if they can't pin you and it's even worse when they pick a character with submission finisher and sig and it's just completely unfair you could be green health no body part damage and they could tap you out if they decided to

@@stunnercountry1995 I've done about over 30 online matches. And I've only ever cheesed submissions once, and it was against someone who had a 100 OVR Charlotte. No one cared until we noticed that they edited her moveset entirely to consist of moves that either had ridiculously small windows to be reversed, or moves that couldn't be reversed at all. Everyone there even believed she was cheating because she reversed 3 different Finishers WHILE STUNNED.
@@kinooshino there's a guy i know that has a custom character in a custom league now i fight with normal's all the time and i can handle 99 percent of everything but he has only has move's that have one reversal and it's dumb that i use a normal guy or even my custom guy and i have a mix of move's that have one or two reversals cause it's messed up to have all your move's be a postive hit land 100 percent of the time
Online is fun if you get put up against people that don’t play like some POS which is rare. Something that annoys me is people cheese submissions since it’s easy to tap people out so I make pin-only lobbies
3:19:30 Owens glitches out on his big boy back senton where he’s becomes stuck. Usually only way to get out is to pin sometimes pressing A/X again he might attempt to complete it. Ran into that issue recently
I agree the new reversal system is annoying at times but it makes sense. They got rid of reversal limits so they had to make it more difficult so there wouldn’t be constant reversing
If you go into MOVE-SET, anyone's taunt will inform you what the BUFF is for OPPONENT or CROWD taunts... CROWD taunts buff your SPECIAL meter gain, the blue bars, consuming 1 or 2 bars for PayBacks, or 3 bars for Signatures... OPPONENT taunts buff your FINISHER meter gain.
