I remember first buying it and it was difficult to understand the controls, I was also a kid who didn’t read the manual too often, but even then, I couldn’t understand why they made the controls to hard to understand. I remember playing mostly exhibition mode, and a little bit of season, before just giving up on the game. I do remember playing as Undertaker and playing against Undertaker, but in purple gloves and purple arm band.
This was the first WWF game I ever played. Good memories. Hated the combo system though. I’m so hoping y’all play WWF Attitude, it’s my fave when between it and War Zone.

The combo system baffles me. Like it's okay enough to do, but I have to be in the right mindset to play. It makes sense for fighting games, and maybe they thought it mad sense here too since they were also fighting....in a sense. Once Smackdown came out...I just couldn't go back to Attitude.

Even me, who joined wrestling around SvR '07 (which was already slower-paced than the old Smackdown games), can't really enjoy these Acclaim games.

I loved this video so much, that I created him to the best that I could with body parts and clothes to make it as accurate as possible in WWF Smackdown Just Bring It! But because it was so limited on how many words you could type in, I named him, Ah Boy Cow, with his ring name being Muthafuggin. And his name that the announcers call him is Nightmare. And I had him beat Stone Cold for the WWF Championship. So now AH Boy Muthafuggin Cow is the WWF Champion in my saved Just Bring It!
This brings back memories. I still laugh when I think of how every punch in the game was your character just smacking and poking opponents with your iron clad open hand.

Some did take place later like I got three spots in on level one when I had the first one. I think it is based on a formula of how long the matches take, how fast you win them, and how badly you beat your opponent, and the health you both have at the end. I hated them 80 percent of the time I got the cage match, 10 percent weapons, and the last normal. I think the type also based on the same formula too, as when I was doing great wining all my matches a Cage Grudge Match would happen as it is the hardest one because to win you opponent must be in red, and stunned a long time for you to leave the cage. Now for the last two depends on who your fighting, what level you are on, and how good your are.
I can't believe you played this for almost 4 hours and not one of you realized that the smaller meter underneath your health indicates the amount of damage you are inflicting on the opponent with each attack. When the crowd is cheering for you, it doubles (and sometimes triples & quadruples) the amount of your attack damage. If they are cheering you, you get out of stun faster. The opponent gets the same perks also.
I remember as a kid me and my friend never managed to work out how to name our wrestlers so they were always named Default. And we didn't know what default meant, we just thought it was a weird name 😂
