I used to be a laceless football boot fan, but I switched back to laces because you just get better lock down and able to adjust the boots to your own needs
I have wide feet and I feel the fit of these are quite good. I go down half a size (7us) while the Predator and Copa I go true to size (7.5us). Cause I clearly feel these F50 are a little bit longer And talk about the X Speedflow+, I go true to size, too (7.5us). You should try both the F50 LL and the Speedflow+ on feet at the same time, with the same size, I’m quite sure you feel the difference in sizing
I tried both on today, i found the laces to have better lockdown but felt the laceless more comfortable. Took me a good 20mins make a decision but ended up buying laceless. I preferred the look & thought the laces were too tight & aggressive for my feet. I hope i made the right decision coming from the pred elite laceless which i loved.
@@LeandroFernandes-wp7ng very good performance & looks wise, i usually get bored after having boots for a few months but i still love these. They are comfy while i am playing but after a match when taking them off my feet ache. Lockdown & traction for me is good but they do feel a bit flat for example being on your toes doesn’t feel effortless. Although I would highly recommend them, I am looking for a second pair of boots between the messi f50, the laced predators, the new mercs or tiempo 10. Just haven’t found the ultimate boot yet that fits me best.
@@ledouu okay thanks for the feedback, I’m thinking of grabbing the pink model that just came out ,still deciding those or the new balance furon v7+ ,I heard they are really nice and one of the most comfortable speed boots.
@@LeandroFernandes-wp7ng i had the new balance v4 pro, very nice at first but then they started to hurt my left knee. I think it was because of how the laces are positioned diagonally & because i had an operation on my knee, they were causing to much pressure like my knee was twisting. If possible try them both on first
@@ledouuI have the X Speedportals. Lost some good amount of lockdown after two years my feet have started to slip when I’m turning at high speeds. Should I buy these or should I go for Mercurial Vapours ?
Great review! I tend to use a laceless boot when I'm coaching or out for a light, unstructured bit of time on the ball, but for matches the only ones I've ever really been comfortable playing in have been the the Copa 19/20+ and then the X Ghosted/Speedflow. I do want to try the new Pred LL, but the laceless system here on the F50 looks and sounds like it's been over simplified. If they put that top coat over the primeknit like they did on the Speedflows I bet they're much improved, but I'll be getting the laced version or not at all for this generation.
Great review! I tried both versions in US 10.5; the laceless version run a little bit longer than ideal compared with the lace model. When trying the US 10.0 laceless the fit was anoyingly snug. Therefore, i went for the US 10.5 lace version.
I was looking at these because I have found across the board for adidas (except copa mundial) the laces all run way too short if I tie them at the highest possible lacehole, which I need to do if I want appropriate lockdown. For me right now it seems I should either get laceless or just buy my own custom long laces, any thoughts?
The 2013 F50 is my favourite boot simply because it fit my foot absolutely perfectly. How does the laced F50 elite compare to that one when it comes to fit. Also, if there are current boots that are similar in fit to the 2013 F50 I would appreciate it if you give me some suggestions.
Unfortunately I really don't see standard releases not being sold out. I think the hype right now behind them being f50s pushes them to superstardom by name alone, and will be hard to get regardless if it's a regular or limited release. At least in most sizes anyway. I think people on either end of the spectrum having either really massive feet or really small feet will have no problem being able to get a pair. But who knows maybe Im wrong.
@@RedEyePergo why would I do that if I want the f50s? My favorite boot I've ever had were the 2014 f50 adizero. I've been waiting a long time for the f50 to come back. I wore the x line for a while but they just weren't f50s. So why would I go for something else if these are what I want?
They’re pretty similar in that regard. The shape is a little different between the two, so the “better” lockdown is going to come from whichever one fits your feet the best given the lack of adjustability with laceless boots

I appreciate reviews like this. Non sponsored. Or no strings attached because of an online store

if thats true then that could be why most reviewer complain about the loose heel on these if u need to go half a size down
@@Zaxstar007 I go half a size down because the length at the toebox, and Yes I feel good about lockdown at the heel
I wonder if the takedowns will be called F30, F10, etc
That would be really cool, but I don’t they would do that given their current naming structure across the brand

I really enjoy your reviews
It's interesting how Sonny is a very fast player but often wears laceless, which doesn't have as good of a lockdown as laces.
These look so wrong laceless
Yeah low key, the laceless knit area could’ve use more of that silicone coating on it to make it look like the speedflows
Went from the speed flow laceless to the crazy fast plus with laces I think these laceless versions are the move especially the f50 plus

I hope there will be a general release of the new F50 soon. I wonder what colourway players at the EuroCup will wear

Just get copas and adjust as needed.
wish adidas would bring the speedflows back in a way, sadly u can only improve so much on something thats already nearly perfect

Get a Mizuno Neo 4 or New Balance Furon V7 instead

Will never understand this trend. I need my boot lockdown on Deathgrip mode
It's like x speedflow with f50 soleplate
If you want laceless you have to go with new balance or lotto
I prefer good old laces accompanied by an actual tongue. Better lockdown, comfort and weatherproofing.
Sad to see these laceless 😢
i only got these cuz the laced f50s were sold out everywhere 😔✊🏼 just wanted messi’s chameleon boots
They look like .3 X Ghosted in purple and lime
Laceless crazyfast seems like a better design
The way the forefoot wrinkles when flexed is the hallmark of a crappy plastic upper.
Is the lockdown better on the f50 or crazy fast (laceless)???

So adidas ran out of innovations no creative minds unbelievable
So many ugly boots from Adidas nowadays
1st!
Them some ugly shoes.
Do you still think the X Speedflow + is the best Adidas laceless boots
Best laceless speed, absolutely!
