I had spent 5 minutes of my life trying to understand what it seemed an unfair red car at first but it is not. The defender in red comes first to the ball and the attacker commits a foul on her. However a third player from the red team stepped on the girl (white team) who committed the original foul while being on the floor and that deserves a fair red card

In training they teach you that if you do not dispute a ball or go with less force, you have a higher percentage of injury (I say this from my own experience). That is why it is not a fault. Sorry if I have any spelling mistakes, English is not my native language and I'm not very good at it at all xd
Thank you for sharing although I have 2 issues : 1. You need to edit this video, there is way too much dead space that nobody wants to watch... Cut out roughly half the time for each instance and it would be a much cleaner and better video. 2. Too many double yellows masquerading as Reds. On paper it is a red card, but in the mind of viewers a red card compilation video should be almost entirely straight red...with the exception of extremely hard fouls that are borderline red to start with. I will give you kudos for putting out the material though instead of just being overly critical

I’m a referee and I think the Elby call could’ve gone either way. One might argue that it was shoulder-to-shoulder, but from the referee’s perspective, it may have looked like she charged her from behind instead of from the side. Elby did, however, have her arm tucked into her body and not extended, which is usually my criterion for a push. With the foul call, a yellow card for stopping a promising attack was justified.

The other one , not much better; this is soccer and not the nfl. 4th and 6th. The refs both fell for some good acting jobs. Clip # 6 : the alleged victim really did back into her opponent and was in no position to get to the ball. 5th. Harsh! Maybe could have given only a yellow card. PERHAPS the ref thought the one committing the act wasn’t trying to get to the ball. Where I will side with the official is that you cannot justify flying spikes first into an opposing player. 1st and 3rd . Stepping on an opponent intentionally and trying to play innocent is beyond foolish. The other one , not much better; this is soccer and not the nfl.
4th and 6th. The refs both fell for some good acting jobs. Clip # 6 : the alleged victim really did back into her opponent and was in no position to get to the ball.
5th. Harsh! Maybe could have given only a yellow card. PERHAPS the ref thought the one committing the act wasn’t trying to get to the ball. Where I will side with the official is that you cannot justify flying spikes first into an opposing player.
Last clip: the minute I saw that ball being spiked reminded me of an unwritten code of baseball. Players getting kicked out of a game for throwing a bat ,a batting helmet or spiking a baseball. You just can’t spike a soccer ball and expect the ref to turn a blind eye.She deserved to be booked.
