    Washington released a video of the draft room that showed the trades and moves, It had Adam Peter's back-and-forth calls with Howie Roseman for the 2nd round trade and showed the talks between picks and how we got the guys we wanted to make it to us with at least 5 of our 1st 6 picks (Jayden, Newton, Sanristil, Sinnott, and McCaffrey) all had the "Commander" Tag, that I figure is the same as the " blue" tag for the Giants.

      @@Hesnotavalabe05 The biggest differences are that Jamo has learned route running/timing with Goff and other coaches over the offseason, so his route tree is now expanded beyond Go Routes and such. Also, plenty of people that have seen him in person say he has put on muscle mass to be able to fight through blocks/contact.
      We'll see how it works out though.🤔

    I know this is going to come as a shock to you... No Packer receiver is going to get 1300 yards, a dozen TDs, and 2.5+ YPRR (well, maybe Bo Melton on that last one). So none are going to LOOK like they're world beating, go-to top dogs. That receiver corps is just too freakin' deep. Quick, name another team whose top *FIVE* WRs on their depth chart had receiving grades of 68+. What's that you say??? There aren't any other teams???
    So who are you going to starve so that one guy can gorge himself on targets? That's not how their offense is designed. No single #1, but rather 1a...1b...1c...1d... Pick your poison.

    How bad will that Colts defense be? Ballard not addressing the Safety situation, and having a poor free agent period

    • @SplitSauce2289
      @SplitSauce2289 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not sure. I think they will have some really good games. I also think there will be games where the free safety and outside corners are complete liabilities. Latu came as advertised, I'll give them that. I don't think they make the playoffs.

    • @dabneyoffermein595

      @@SplitSauce2289 I Agree, there are nasty liabilities on this team (Colts). As far as Latu, I don't think there's any way he stays healthy until the season starts (that's an entire 5 weeks away and he's known for the neck / spine issues), The Colts already lost several players to Achilles ruptures and an ACL, they are jinxed in that regard, so Latu has injury written all over him and so does Richardson (QB). I think the writing is already on the wall as far as that goes (injuries that is--they've had 3 players carted off this year starting with OTA's).... But with Joe Flacco leading the team and Edge Sampson Ebukam going down with the Achilles rupture, the Colts are in trouble since all they will have during the season at the edge is Kwitty Paye, who gets out-matched by the big O-Lines of the NFL... The Colt's defense was ranked almost last in the league for a reason last year, and Gus Bradley's soft, porous zone schemes are so outdated, they will get punk-slapped most of the time. However, I agree with you that there will be times when they will surprise us and look halfway decent. Keep in mind, Minchew bailed them out of all kinds of problems last year, Richardson will not have the skills to do that......Instead of the Colts beating the Titans last year with Minshew Magic in Nashville throwing to Alex Pierce in the game's waning moments, Anthony Richardson would have probably thrown a pick, like he's been doing in camp.

      @@dabneyoffermein595 - wrong about the nature of Latu's injury history ... He has had zero issues and had missed zero games in college (beyond sitting out of their 2023 bowl game as many NFL prospects do) since coming back from being told he shouldn't play. Insinuating there's no way he'll stay healthy over the next 5 weeks, despite him having stayed healthy and unbothered for the 100+ weeks prior to now, is frankly stupid
      - wrong about the Colts losing "several players to Achilles ruptures and an ACL" ... There was backup safety Daniel Scott (achilles) in June, and Samson Ebukam recently. "Several" means more than two. There also hasn't been an ACL. You exaggerate here for some strange reason
      - wrong about simply assuming Richardson and Latu will be hurt because the team is "jinxed" ... Self-explanatory stupidity
      - wrong about Paye being their only decent edge rusher beyond Latu ... Dayo Odeyingbo and Tyquan Lewis (not to mention Latu, who you assume injury to for no reason)
      - wrong about Minshew "bailing them out of all kinds of problems last year" ... Good god if you actually watched Colts games and knew what you were looking at, you would not say Minshew "bailed them out" really at all. Minshew was a good backup QB but absolutely not anything beyond a mediocre game manager.
      - wrong about making it sound like Richardson has been throwing a bunch of picks at training camp ... I'm only finding two INTs, both from Julian Blackmon. I might be missing one or two, but even if so it's nothing remotely close to being problematic
      I mean honestly, do you even care about saying true things, or are you just happy with making stuff up? It's okay to think they won't be good this year, but good god at least use some logic and facts

      @@dabneyoffermein595 Bro Latu's neck injury is not a concern. He was told by one doctor that he wasn't cleared to play. That was Washington's doctor who was just protecting the university from liability. He went to the best doctor in the nation for his injury, and was cleared. He played pro level rugby and two years of football since then. He was cleared by all NFL doctors as well. It isn't a nagging injury. The Colts have Tyquan Lewis and Odeyingbo if Latu or Paye went down. I disagree on Minshew. Minshew's success was due to Shane Steichan's masterful play calling, and JT's run game threat. AR is going to ball out of he stays healthy. That being said, AR and JT will have to carry this team every game. Gus defense is going to get shredded. Teams have Gus Bradley zone beaters, and know when to use them. We don't have the personnel for his system to be elite. We have the front 7, but you need really good press corners and a really good FS. Which Ballard didn't address at all. I have us winning 5 games this year. The schedule is rough.

    • @SplitSauce2289
      @SplitSauce2289 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dabneyoffermein595 And you're wrong about AR throwing hella picks in camp. He's looked good. Way, way better than last year. Teams HAVE to stack the box on AR and JT. AR doesn't have to be Arod to have success in this league. I have faith in Steichan's offense. Defense will lose games tho.

    Amazing to hear the PFF guys say you can't necessarily take these videos at face value because you often don't know what the guys are being asked to do. Because that's the *exact* reason why their approach of having some random guy they have chained up in the basement grading every player on every play is inherently flawed. The graders don't know the play calls. They can try to infer assignments, but that's sometimes asking guys who probably aren't in any way qualified to do that to make massive assumptions. Just a funny little bit of hypocrisy there.
