Thank you for the video . Although I have a question and I guess many would like to know the answer as well ). I was gifted with Scorp 2 ( not the mini 2) and I would like to know how to mount my iphone 15pro . Is there a way to mount and balance the iphone 15 pro. Will it work properly or the gimbal won’t balance due to the phones light as the scorp 2 is for handling heavier weight ?
You just attach a basic smartphone clamp to the Scorp 2's mounting plate and balance it that way. It should have no issues at all because the payload is so little
I want to get the scorp 2 for the stronger motors and some other features but the scorp 2 doesn't come with smartphone mount, so my question is can i buy it separately or it's better to use a smartphone cage and mount it like a camera on the gimbal ? Thanks for your informative videos
I always prefer to use a base plate and mount it like a camera, as I show you in the video. I always find the dedicated phone mounts gimbal provide not too good for balancing. I hope you know what I mean. You don’t need to buy anything fancy. Just any clip phone mount that you can screw onto the gimbal’s base plate. Then you can balance it like a camera and get the absolute best results. If you ever get stuck k, reach out to me by email or socials and will happily help out. If you are London based and want to test drive the gimbal before purchasing, just let me know and we can sort something out.
Exactly my point.. I don't like the provided smartphone mount.. Glad I've watched your video.. Now i know the standard base can be use to mount smartphone as well..
Great great great! This is what I've been looking for, the alternative way of mounting the smartphone aside from that mounting accessories that comes from the box.. Now you've just got me the go signal to purchase this gimbal..
damn thank u so much for this video! i spent good 3 days trying to figure out how to even set this thing up and only managed to result with a headache, legend, very helpful video!
I have never used the saramonic’s so I can’t give you an informed opinion about it. But I can tell you that I have never had any issues with the hollyland’s. I have never had lost signal and bad audio. I do use a nice VT500 lavalier mic which is a bit expensive and that combo is amazing. I did a video not long ago about audio recording and I show you how I do it. Would that be helpful to you too? How to Record PERFECT Audio | Beginner's Guide th-cam.com/video/PvHRKuzSFiQ/w-d-xo.html
Nice tutorial Samuel. I'm looking forward to purchasing either the SCORP Mini 2 or the MT2 to work with an iPhone. Extra accessories such as lenses will be part of my kit. That in mind, could you recommend what may be a better choice of gimbals.
I would imagine so! If you mount the phone/cage upside down you have up to 1.5KG… upright, it all depends on the top heaviness of all accessories combined, but you have the option of either way, which makes it great.
Hi ! How are you today , My Name is Mr.Herman Woods . I wonted to know what kind of smartphone adapter you got for the Felyu Tech SCORP-2 I AM LOOKING FOR ONE FOR MYS SCORP 2 .THANK YOU !FOR YOUR TIME .MR.HERMAN WOODS
The mini 2 comes with its very own smartphone mount adaptor. I have never used one with the scorp 2 because I had the mini 2, so only used the scorp 2 with my heavy camera…
To be honest with you, I haven’t used it lately because the weather in the UK has been horrendous. But the moment temperatures warm up I intend to use it again
@@SamuelSotiega Specifically the stabilization, AI tracking, and general ease of use between the two. To give you some context, I'm looking for a gimbal to film cinematic car videos. I'm currently using just my phone (S23 Ultra), but plan on getting a decent professional camera soon after some research
for what you mention, the scorp mini 2 will be my preferred option. You get great ergonomic for both standard and also underslung, very, very gold stabilisation, the ability to use either phone (with dedicated smartphone mount) or camera…. If you are comfortable with the shape, I think it would fit your requirements. What do you think? Do you have any specific concern?
@@SamuelSotiega Thank you! I know, the scorp mini is better for smartphones, but my sony A7 III and its lens will be too heavy... I will see how to put a smartphone on scorp 2.
I am very excited to compare🤩 it with the isteady MT2. I now have 3 axes and I want the best of them. I use the phone and want the most comprehensive one for all conditions: SCORP mini 2, Isteady Mt2, and Isteady m6.
The mini P is smartphone only, the kink 2 will handle cameras and phones, with a much higher payload and better overall balancing. It all depends on what exactly you need…
It will come. But there is a limit as to what one person can do in terms of video and content creation. It is in my rota/schedule for upcoming videos… But I can’t be in 2 places at the same time and film 2 or 3 videos simultaneously, I wish I could though!
Could 8 possibly ask you to record a short video with good lighting where I can clearly see what the issue is and the equipment involved and hopefully i can give you a reason/ solution ? Hard for me to say without actually seeing the issue with my own eyes… contact details in my about page. I hope I can help!
I saw your video. That does not behave the way mine does. it looks like the latch is not secured enough so the plate slides. Have you contacted Feiyutech support with that video? Please let me know what the score is and if they haven't got back to you, I can try and get the person i deal with at Feiyutech to get support to contact you.
Finally, some showing how to balance a Smartphone on this gimble

Either one of them will be very good. One question though, is AI tracking important to you?
Can I use Scorp 2 for bigger payloads of my iPhone max & beast cage with lenses ????

ciao puoi dirmi se posso comandare la mia insta 360 ace pro con questo gimbal anche il solo rec andrebbe bene.grazie
CIAO! Non possiedo un ace pro quindi non posso davvero dirlo. Mi dispiace.

In the video I show it in the mini 2. Technically you can mount it on the scorp 2, but it is such a large gimbal for a phone...
