    I love how you used a variety of colouring mediums. Do you like the us resin you used? I have the same brand but haven’t used it yet. The last brand I used had a very strong odor.
    I always love to watch your videos!

    do you find that resin tends not to bubble in the way that mod podge DM bubbles? with DM, it appears smooth and clean going on (literally no visible bubbles), but when it dries, there's tiny little dimples here and there which are apparent as tiny tiny bubbles on the surface. also with DM, it never ever EVER covers the edges of my shrinks, it always has this unfinished edge.

    Hi Miss Amy!! I love all of your videos and rly appreciate that u out so much time and work into helping us by making and posting them🥰 I was wondering if u could help me 😅 I made some shrink pieces recently for bits for a shaker.. um first I wanted to ask bc I have the sanded side kind also.. do u recommend using the outline/marker on slick side then flip for coloring in... The. What side do u bake upwards? 🤔 And then.. I'm hoping it was just cruddy weather but I spray sealed both sides before allowing to dry and then added uv resin but they still started to pull off 😭 I'll probably try with mod podge nxt round but was rly hoping the spray would work for me 😓 I used... "Rust-Oleum universal advanced formula clear durable topcoat high gloss" holy cow what a long name 😅 tysm whether u can help with this or not!! 🥰😘

    • @AmyMade
      @AmyMade  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hi! If you’re using permanent marker, it’s better to do it on the shiny side so the ink won’t bleed through the fine scratches. If you’re using paint marker as an outline, you can do it on the sanded side. However it really depends on the look you’re going for. Outlining and coloring on the different sides will give the piece a 3d effect. Regarding your sealer, Make sure it has dried completely and make sure the resin has cured completely. Also, with the sealer, light coats is always better than a couple thick coats

      Ur awesome!! TYSM! I just got my first set of POSCA pens! I rly like the both sides coloring look and I'm thinking I must've sprayed too much or the weather inhibited it's drying more than I thought! 😅 So wonderful of u to help me!! 💗💕

    • @user-eb5uz5qx3g

      @@AmyMade I was referencing the black and white lemon print, that you put the frosted shrink plastic over top of before drawing with color. I tried ( am still getting used to ) the grafix white for inkjet, it's pretty interesting. I have some random brand of frosted and like you say it's not very nice bc of how they sand at the factory. It also doesn't go through the cameo very well at all. Would you say grafix brand is a good choice for cutting machines?

    • @AmyMade
      @AmyMade  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh ok. Yea the image was 1.5 inch. To cut with a machine, you’ll have better result with a new blade. The problem with random brand is that the thickness of the plastic may vary. I just got one and it was thicker than what Im used to and my machine didn’t cut it as well. Grafix is alright although the last batch I purchased weren’t as clear.
