After this test...I decided for me, for my gigs to buy a pair of rcf935...I have seen a lot of tests about them, but your is the most relevant. I'm in love with RCF for 3 years...Still using 715 with rcf10f mixer, and now I'm ready to upgrade.
I bought my first pair of RCF 2 years ago (HD 12A MK4) and I was really impressed with the audiophile-like sound. But why all DJs need these is the DSP is the best out there. it'll let the speaker sound good but will never let you blow your drivers. It's the same DSP as their tour Array boxes. def getting me a pair of ART 935-A.

I was about 150m away in another compound and I could hear the words of the songs clearly. I will be be selling all my active speakers (especially my heavy dual 15s) to get these.
Nick good job first of all I know first hand all the work this takes and not everyone appreciates this. But for future in audio test two major factors most cannot hear on their phone or device is quality so they have some type of trust factor that your knowledge and expertise will lead them in the right path. Whenever I truly review a speaker the best way to compare to others in its price range and class is to grab a tape measure and yes Raw without any eq mixing or digital processing run 320kbps or wave files on all the brands with a dB meter from several diffirent distances and then give your thought. Also consider going in diforent angles to see how well they do left and right and how much of a degree they cover. Last I see a lot of discussion about the watts. This is a pro-summer brand meaning the wattage and other items have been rated for what they are and are smaller in number because it is true. What you should always consider looking at is what drivers where used and its spl. Also an important factor is the Amp cooling and how it's power is divided. Last features that are greatly usable. For most of you looking these speakers are not as good for you because of shear size, your not strong enough to cary or don't like it to heavy and your vehicle is too small. This is another reason so many like other brands that are not good. I will have this in my shop soon and I'm very excited to put it against my martin audio. I will run a true test and give you some feedback but I hope I was able to offer some good pointers for an audio test for you. What sub are you using with these??? I have the J8's because most of my weddings are less that 200. These teen party's and outdoor events need more! Was looking at the RCF subs. Since the J8's are 1400 watts, was thinking about going the step above 945 and 905as. Just not able to hear these. TIA and great content for real!!
Are you a band, dj or speaking engagement use? The 4" hf would suit a band or something that demands powerful vocals. Outdoor or big areas too. The 915 would be fine for wedding dj but feel free to step upnthe the 935 and hear those announcements shine over the music.
I went to my local store to buy the art 935 he ak if i was using subs i said yes the 705mk2 he recommended i buy the art 932-a he said its a lot cleaner and tight than the 935 he also said the 932-a sounds even better on the bigger subs like the 8003/8004 he said the 935 is awesome if you dont to use subs. He gave me a sound demo And i agree with him. Itlians knows how to make good speakers

I use this battery. I mostly use it for ceremony but I did a cookout and ran my entire setup off it. 2 ev 12s, my mixer, laptop, mic, a fan and a bubble machine (lol) and it ran all of this at decent volume for 2.5 hours. Hope this helps

945 is the flagship. Even bigger voice coil, more dbs and lower cross over at ridiculious 650 Hz. Also the only speaker in ART 9 series that has the powercon cable. I'd wait for the 945 if not in a hurry.
Bro I used my 945a in a gig today in an open field. These things are beasts. But I noticed at the end that the back where the amp is was very hot. Is this normal?
@@DanAlexandruGeorge I don’t think so. I’ve used them for hours and they get warm but after a while they release heat. I’ve also gotten feedback from other users saying it’s normal: that’s how they deal with heat.

How bout a review on the Jackery with your ceremony setup to see how long it will last etc. I did a test on my Halo Bolt and my ceremony rig(speaker, 2 mics and a mixer). Nice volume and it gave me 1.5 hours. I’m curious on this Jackery before I get one.
I was thinking to get the RCF 945-A. But I was watching some video that compare RCF 745 VS RCF 945 and they say 745 has a better kick than 945 even though the RCF 945 are more powerful. I own RCF 735 And RCF Sub 705 As-2. But I want to get 2 extra speakers in order to eliminate the subwoofer at some of my gigs.( under 100 ppl) So question is would be better to get the Rcf 745 mk4 or Rcf 945-A
Dude, you can not compare the sound with an extra sub. I have heard Jbl, EV, RCF (My favorite right now) and is not the same. That is why i always add a sub in my events as a dj. But talking about RCF, it has a very good bass
@@izzo4185 945 has a bigger "4"" suitable for small bands on the road and crossed over lower at 650Hz which increases perceived loudness. For us DJs, the 935A HF 3" crossed over at 800Hz is perfect and still sounds awesome as you see here. The new RCF stuff is way more musical that their past speakers. I've already pre-orded a pair and will pay it off slowly. Worth every penny and more.

I been thinking about switching to this brand...I just bought a pair of QSC K12 2 I took only 1 with me to the bar bcuz that's all I needed with the original K12 bcuz it's not that big of a bar...But I had the K12.2 Speaker almost to the Max and it was still Not loud at all!!!..I could hear the conversation from the ppl on the front table 🤦♂️...So I been really really thinking about switching to this brand.

Lol...It pounds!!!!!...I know these were on back order so QSC is trying hard to push them out but I think QC drop the ball on my first speaker...bcuz after I did a reset it sounds awesome!!!!!...I still might pick up a pair of RCF tho...always good to have back up...and YES I AGREE...I should of brought a pair but my other speaker was still on back order...But I have done gigs there before with just one QSC K12 and even that was to much for that place lol...but now I won't ever accept a gig unless I have a pair...plus the last gig was a test anyways...small town small bar...But I still got the Halloween gig...They anit ready! 🙏
Hey Nick, I just recently bought the RCF 912A, I noticed that the power cables are very thick on these speakers. Do you know why they are using these thick power cables? I’ve owned a pair of K 12s and The power cable is not that thick..So just wondering if you knew why the thicker cable? Is it really necessary? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
@@Fizyxxthe bass are gonna be almost the same but with point source speakers you can get more power out of them as soon as you use them with a sub. while columns arrays are fuller by themselves, but can’t be pushed more even with subs, since they’re already a full range speaker with a “sub” portion that sits on the ground
Question, what is real power of the amp? Sorry but 2kW on the paper has also ALTO and other budget speakers. Paper accepts anything. For me it matters only real measured parameters.
Surprised you didn't have distortion issues. Everytime I plug an 1/8" to XLR straight into my speakers they sound like shit. I have tried different cables, different speakers, different sources: Still the same result. I always run shit through a mixer now, even when making my speaker test videos.
The real test is with many People.. You can crank and make it sound like it's loud on a field without people but if there are people mostly talking then that's when you know if your speaker is loud enough to make them deaf lols
3:38 use a proper audio interface (RME, Focusrite etc)! this makes all the difference. Phone dacs are crap. Even the best speaker wont sound good with those.
I bought these because of your review to serve as my speakers for larger events, but I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but they’re always clipping. I can’t even turn it up properly & I’m using a mixer and Rev7.
Check your gain levels, your master level and lower the volume on the external mixer as well. You should be bouncing in the green or at least one amber light on your REV 7. Your speakers shouldn’t clip if your levels are set properly.

FIR filtering, 800hz crossover freq, transparent forward mids, and fast transient response has previously only been found on speakers costing 2-3 times as much. I thought this line punched way above the price point.
Definitely worth every Penny! These are far better than any brand out there, for sure. Been rockin RCF's for 5 years and would never buy anything else unless the quality diminishes, which I do not foresee that happening
I own both. The QSC is not on the same level. QSC stuff works and is tough like he says. I have had drunk people knock my shit over, it just plain works. RCF makes great stuff.

They are in a different category. The k12.2 sounds harsh in high volumes. Just sold my qsc system. Definitely getting myself the rcf 945a.

Yes, absolutely. 945 is the flag ship but the 935 is going to have a larger horn so you'll sound better on the mic and it has the neo drivers

Question, what is real power of the amp? Sorry but 2kW on the paper has also ALTO and other budget speakers. Paper accepts anything. For me it matters only real measured parameters.
It has 2 amps... 1400watt for the woofer and 700watt for the top.. I just bought the 945s

Surprised you didn't have distortion issues. Everytime I plug an 1/8" to XLR straight into my speakers they sound like shit. I have tried different cables, different speakers, different sources: Still the same result. I always run shit through a mixer now, even when making my speaker test videos.

The real test is with many People.. You can crank and make it sound like it's loud on a field without people but if there are people mostly talking then that's when you know if your speaker is loud enough to make them deaf lols

3:38 use a proper audio interface (RME, Focusrite etc)! this makes all the difference. Phone dacs are crap. Even the best speaker wont sound good with those.

I bought these because of your review to serve as my speakers for larger events, but I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but they’re always clipping. I can’t even turn it up properly & I’m using a mixer and Rev7.
Check your gain levels, your master level and lower the volume on the external mixer as well. You should be bouncing in the green or at least one amber light on your REV 7. Your speakers shouldn’t clip if your levels are set properly.
@@djceelos5427 Thanks for the response! That’s the problem though, the levels are set correctly, the speakers themselves aren’t clipping, it’s the mixer and controller that’s clipping 😩

FIR filtering, 800hz crossover freq, transparent forward mids, and fast transient response has previously only been found on speakers costing 2-3 times as much. I thought this line punched way above the price point.

Definitely worth every Penny! These are far better than any brand out there, for sure. Been rockin RCF's for 5 years and would never buy anything else unless the quality diminishes, which I do not foresee that happening
I have been using qsc k12.2 is this better and which stand are you using are they gator id
I own both. The QSC is not on the same level. QSC stuff works and is tough like he says. I have had drunk people knock my shit over, it just plain works. RCF makes great stuff.
Watts are important but I always look at the SPL
