@@cloud805er hi, old school tenkaichi gamer here, it's not a problem to be solved. this is what we've been asking for, what's been missing from every dbz fighter up til now. part of the distinct character of the tenkaichi series is the fact you can go in, as you call it, a vanish war or a counter war, because it's closer to anime fights than other game series where you're limited as opposed to overcoming your opponent with ridiculous timing and skill. we want more of that, not less. with that said, this could easily be a new feature that only adds to the complexity we've been asking for, and they should implement this as a feature sword characters have, almost as a parry

The ones your oponent starts for examples, are unavoidable, either that or you eat a 10k combo if You don't Vanish their smash chains. Or when you are backshoting someone, they súper counter mash like scrubs, and are you gonna just eat the súper counter potentially eating a guaranteed súper from oponent or a divekick finisher when you were the one stsrting the offense to begin with? Hell no. It is eat or be eaten scenarios unfortunately, the one that decides to not do Vanish wars is going to be at a disadvantage.

the only other counter cost 2 skill bars OR a super counter but with super counter youre put back into the vanish war. i dont know if bandai will approach this issue but i hope they do in some way.

Every.SINGLE.FUCKING.CHARACTER.*NEEDS* to be able to do this shit with any Smash direction, whether or not it's Z or Super Counter, whether or not they initiated or it's a response, and they need to not have to get hit for it

funny interaction I have only seen that privilege of sorts with after image strike (teleports behind you and stops the vanish wars, forcing the opponent to frame super counter or get hit). Tp be able to do it for free is pretty wild!

I believe the smash doesn’t matter. Is just you have to be in the offensive state meaning you first activate the smash attack > vanish > then sway. You cant get hit by their smash attack 1st.
holding left or right during any type of vanish smash will give you a side smash up and down held will give you the same thing but up or down or holding no direction when youre the one that hits the smash gives you a neutral smash that is no direction. once youve used whichever one you need to start the bug you just input your dash button right before you get hit similiar to doing a counter vanish.
@@apexpredator9163 so as I showed in the video you hit them with tapion you hit them with your smash holding NO direction where he gets a piercing stab looking move once they counter vanish that specific move you time your dash (A or X button depending on console) while holding no direction (because it’s the easiest one to do) you’ll get the dodge and your opponent will miss

Been using trunks as my main and I’m statring to get the hang of this in training but lets see how it goes in an online fight. Timing is still just as important with this though trying to get that dash off before they smash you is rough
They should allow this only if youre in sparking mode and if youre not it should cost 1 or 2 bars to escape vanish war, then i think wed get some nice mix ups for everyone, fusion chars it should take .5 more since they’re just more op.
Found something weird, dont know if its new, you combo someone with a flying kicks (still dont understand why this isnt the best rush chain in the game) then push them back with the 5th attack of the rush combo. You can dash in get an instat over head and if it lands, you can true combo into a second rush combo. Only work if you hit his with a flying kick, no other rush chain seems to work. I tried doing the same thing with rolling hammer from behind and it still didnt work.
What about the characters that just can cancel out of vanish attack like Zamasu? He also can stop vanish wars but I believe it's intentional mechanic for him

Cloud super vegito , zamasu , pan , and GT goku all have a move called after image strike. it beats the vanish war right but you dodge every hit over and over for 15 seconds.

Despite this tech, the prob with Trunks is he basically has 1 special instead of 2. Because in both SSJ Sword Versions he has 2 specials that essentially do the same thing, making it effectively an aesthetic choice in which you use, not a choice of function. SSJ Future Z Trunks technically has 1 that is a homing attack so there's a little variation, but still not much, SSJ Future (DBS) Trunks literally has 2 beams, that both cost the same, and both do roughly the same dmg. Such a waste :/

it works online. its just lag changing the timing. in the video i show a clip of someone performing twice in a row online.
