The Texas High School Band Director is really more of a CEO than a teacher these days. Brandon Day is currently the Head Director at Burleson High School, and he talks about what band directors do from day to day to manage their programs. From designing the show for the marching band, running rehearsals, and managing a hundreds of thousands of dollars, the modern head band director spends most of their time behind a desk rather than on the podium.
