Damn. This video tour just made me buy both Walkabout mini golf and Myst for the quest. I loved myst as a kid but also just watching this guy walk around the courses and talk about the process was fascinating. Thanks for thsi.
I'm confused, is this a solvable level? I've never played myst but I just played this map for hours trying to figure it out. Can I turn the power on to the rocket? Does the clock tower have anything to do with it, or are those buttons just an homage to the original? I'm not looking for a solution, just want to know if it's possible before I keep tinkering.
I had to come here to figure out hole 5, easy. I hope that's not a sign of things to come. I expect to need some occasional help when playing a game like myst, but not to figure out a mini golf hole. Other than that, I really enjoyed the easy course, and am looking forward to the hard course.
Myst is a puzzle game. Its just this course don't worry. Although I still baffled. Hit every thing and it doesn't really matter if you know the optimal solution or not.
This game totally ruined my enjoyment of IRL minigolf because the courses are always so dull by comparison. This was mine and my gf's saviour during the pandemic because we lived apart.
