The good rule is, set the motor to top dead center compression BEFORE tearing into it. That will prevent that problem of the cams being off.Good video, keep it up.
Happy new year. Well explained. I noticed on mine that it has 1-4 3-2 printed on crank trigger wheel for correct TDC. Will very interesting to see how much the fuelling will be with your completed head mods. Keep the great videos coming on our great bikes🏍️
Ive ran it on the street once with my hookup pro and punched it at around 3,000 rpms. It laid a black mark for a block before it shifted to forth gear. Thought it was a one time thing so I did it again in a different road and same result. Im excited to see what it does at the track.

I know this video is older but I’m working on a gen 2 motor rn and I’m having the same issue with 180 out would love some help of possible
If its 180 out rotate it another 180°. If its still showing out or timing marks are wrong then your timing chain could be stretched

On how to put in the chain?
