    Thank you for the video. I think you should have put in the title from plugs.

    They are one of the most difficult seeds to germinate in my opinion. However, it is worth the try for the beauty they exude once flowering.

    I have not grown these yet but am currently deciding which flowers I'll be growing this year! Thank you Jill! I pray you are feeling well, it's so nice to see your pretty face pop up on my screen ❤

    I started seeds in January and February… Wish I could have attached a picture… they have germinated, well 90% but they are so very small. Bigger than a dot but am so thankful for your information. Lisianthusing from Michigan… 🥳

    This is SO exciting! I love lisianthus, specifically the voyage 2 lavender I’ve seen johnnys selling the seeds. I live not too far from y’all here in Arkansas. I’ve been kinda scared to try growing them myself just because like you said our springs are pretty warm. I can’t wait to see how these work for you I might actually give them a shot next year

      Swallowtail garden seeds has them at more cost effective price than Johnny’s.

    Great and I cannot wait to see progress. Where do you get your flower netting?

    Very excited to see the results of your lisianthus project, one that you have put all the extras and research and planning into. Could you please let us see pictures of the varieties that you have chosen so we know what to anticipate? Can't wait to live this experiment through you. FYI I've never had problems hearing the audio on your videos.

    I am growing lisianthus 1st time seed this year. Pretty good experience so far. I still have some time before planting out, but Seedlings is doing well. Its no discouragement growing from seed. I enjoy a challenge so it's worth it. I encourage anyone to try from seed the key patience

    Thank you for sharing this! I love growing lisianthus from seed here in NE KS starting in early February, yes I get blooms a little later but wanted a break in January. My first year growing was a learning curve not to over water. This year has been really good, they like my water neglect lol 😂. We have really cold winters here zone 6a but awful southern heat. The ones I put in my raised beds (unprotected) most survived lots of snow and negative temps outside. That surprised me. However, two months of no rain out there. They’re starting to suffer with some die back. I think if I had given splashes of water during cold and warm temps they all would’ve survived. Last years crop bloomed beautifully through our 100+ degrees high humidity with no pest problems. We have every nasty pest bug out there here. =•} The Japanese beetles didn’t even touch it. That’s why I think lisianthus is becoming my favorite beautiful flower. I think you’ll love it! 🥰 ❤

    Great video lots of info. I don’t know if it’s just me but I can’t watch on landscape because your voice audio goes super low.

    ❤❤❤ would love a bouquet of the peach colored ones if you sell them from farm. Im growing purple white and carmine and i grew in pots last year. Hearty little plants that bloomed all summer and fall. If it rained hard id move into garage till storms past. And every time i cut more blooms start. This year im trying a few different ways to see what works best. They didnt last inside overwintered...but thinking inside a greenhouse overwintered might work. Im just a person who loves the flowers and decided to treat myself with the easy burpee starts. They came huge! Id love the opportunity to order plugs like in a flat to try but im not a grower. Just for personal use to enjoy. So price and the inability to order whole sales kind of makes it almost impossible. I love to learn and you need a good amount of extras to research variables. But actually having grown and bloomed right in front of me was a dream come true!!! Cant wait to see the progression and what you learn!!!❤

    I just go my local Amish greenhouse place and buy them in a 4 cell pack for 2 bucks. They have like 100s of them along with impatients, zinnias, veggies and many more annuals in cell packs

    Are you going to put shade loth on the tunnel and roll up the sides to keep it cool for the lisianthus?

    • @WhisperingWillowFarm
      @WhisperingWillowFarm  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We have the sides that stay up. The white inner layer is just insect netting, and we will add shade cloth soon

    Please put tennis balls on those rebar ends. A quick bending down can lead to a terrible accident.
