Looking for something inexpensive for backpacking Europe. Would these do well?
It depends on your size, foot width, backpack weight, etc. Too many factors for me to say for sure. Go try some on at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Yes, they fit true to size for me.
UA is on that Adidas sizing now... Aka it's different from show to shoe.
For perspective; I wear sz 11D (reg width) in Nike (mostly Air Max & J's) 11D in New Balance and they fit PERFECTLY. 11.5 in Puma, Asics, and Brooks. I have some UA charged bandits that fit perfectly (but are beat, these are replacing those). Was surprised that 11.5 wasn't even close with these; I had to try in 12 and they were still too short. Store didn't have 12.5
But I have long, narrow ski feet. Either 9rder on AMZN where returns are quick & easy or, preferably, go to Dicks and find your size. One never can tell.

I got these because I got a pair of different under armor shoes called the phantom 2.0 from the store Ross dress for less and they’re super comfortable so I got an all black pair of these for work since the bottom of my heater super sensitive Adidas does not help Nike does not help it so far these shoes have been the best or

Yes. it's pretty good for walking but if I walk long distances I like the Brooks Beast better.
