the waning and waxing stuff also made no sense to me, but its basically lower 6 demons and upper 6 (these are the strong ones that lived for hundreds of years) this was such a great finale, that lower moon meeting scene came out of nowhere and was a really interesting way to introduce them and then display muzans sheer power... it also helps keep the fast pacing of the show cause theres no need to go through each one and kill them the tanjiro scenes were really sweet hes such a genuinely nice person, i really like how he helps everyone around him
