- Corduroy is just over 7 weeks old. He went to NC State Vet College yesterday so they could evaluate his cleft palate. He is too small to have the operation so we go back the first of the year 2017 for another evaluation. So we continue to tube feed every 3.5 to 4 hours. As of 10/28/16 at 7 weeks old he is 8.2 ounces. Look for Corduroy's gofundme page if you want to donate to his up and coming surgery.
He actually showed us his bed and toy! He is adorable.

Breeders are trying to breed as small a pup as they can and sometines they will be born with some type of issue like cleft pallet

He turned black on his body and tan on his head. There are videos of him on my page with the longer hair. He lived to almost 3 years old and passed away of natural complications. :(

I have one of these tiny little yorkie pups. He is adorable! He sounds just like this one. These puppies are so tiny until you have to watch them very, very, closely so that you don't accidentally step on them when you let them out for awhile. Because of this, I always sit down on the floor and play with mine and then put him back in his bed where he will stay safe. They are tiny but they are fast, and they can get under your feet very quickly. I am careful, careful, careful, with my little tiny pup! I love him so much!

Please visit the website before owning a yorkie. They are real dogs and they do not realize how small they are. You cannot leave them alone without attention. They will take on any predator or larger dog. They are brave and loyal. You, the owner must be just as loyal.

Where can I purchase a pup like Corduroy?
Pups like him are very rare and we do not breed to get them this small. It was just an unusual thing to have such a tiny one born. They typically come with special issues.
I think he’s too young to be away from his mother.
Corduroy was born with a cleft palette and was unable to nurse. I had to tube feed him every 2 to 3 hours around the clock to keep him alive and each time he went back with his mama. I didn't take him away from her until he was 7 or 8 weeks old which is normal. He still got to see her, play with her, etc, but because of his special needs, I had to have him close by. He would otherwise have died.
I was not expecting a sound like that. Of course I had to start taking a sip of water right before he made his first little squeak. I almost spit it all over. So tiny! So cute!
