Awesome Colonel👍🏾 Retired U.S. Marine. Graduate of Ranger Class 6-88. During the pre-Ranger course we had to do 10 dead hang pull-ups and the extra one. But the Marines had to do two extra ones: Pull-up 11 “One for the Ranger in the sky” Pull-up 12 “One for the Marine who put him there. Semper Fi.

One of my most proud credentials is the 3 dudes who told me they graduated ranger because of me. Awesome (and somehow humbling) words.

Tell me more about what a hero and leader you are. It was a wonderful story, and you told it so well.

I firmly believe that you will be a Flag Officer soon, especially after coming off successful command. Your father and I had similar goals as enlisted soldiers. We both wanted our sons to serve, albeit as Officers. My son is a Cyber Officer(1LT), I am trying to convince him to attend the premier leadership school in the Army and earn his TAB. You have a Facebook, Sir?

This is what it’s about, helping/motiviating/supporting your ranger buddy and fellow rangers in general. Class 13-86, directly under the A, top row in the class photo. RLTW

100% true. Is that not what the school is all about when you stop to think about it.

How to graduate ranger school? Just don't quit! Dig deep and keep telling yourself ill quit tomorrow. But that was back when it was hard. Now apparently chicks can pass it so take it for what its worth. Im a July 96 graduate. One of my most vivid memories from it was when I was the platoon seargent during a patrol in mountain phase and it was cold AF! so I approached an RI and requested that we could get our guys into some snivel gear and the RI's response was. "You have your gloves on ranger, thats all you fucking need." Hahahaha, all I could say was "roger" and embraced the suck. Oh how I miss those days. 20 years old and full of piss and vinegar. Anyway, yes he is 100% correct. Take care of your Rangers first and the possibility of you succeeding doubles
