    When one of the reef guardians spew you can say “taunt” and the OT can taunt and the MT take right back and it stops that mech - and vice versa. Just good comms needed.

      Your videos are amazing as always. One day we’ll be in a group with dbNord!

      100% and I probably should have included it with a caveat. I’m just concerned this is something they will patch out, and it feels a little cheesy, so I left it out. Part of my thought process also was I figured if you can get past the first boss as a tank, then you can probably handle the sprays.
      I’ll pin this though, at least until they patch it out, if they even do of course. Thanks for taking the time to drop the comment, it’s super helpful!

    Console doesnt have a "tell" for lightning stacks apart from the stack debuff icon on the far right above your health/stam bar. If your not very good at looking for it you turn self buffs off in the options/combat menu and the lightning stacks will be the only icon you see so its easier to check how many you have for cleansing

    Hey ! I recently discovered your channel and my god you are a godsend keep up the good work my friend you will be one of the biggest eso channels in a few months ^^ the one thing my small brain cant understand is why are we moving the bosses and do we move them when they split or one of the bosses runs to the hole like i dont get it :'(

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those are great questions and I’m sorry they are presuppositions to this video! I realized it after but it was to late at that point.
      So if you leave the boss stationary, they will go to the various reef’s only somewhat predictably and you will probably need 3 teams and it will be more complicated where each team goes and when. So you move them to each reef in order to make the downstairs running easier and more efficient. And you want to move them whenever one of them starts channeling by the reef you are standing at.
      Let me know if that doesn’t clear it up. If you run it a few times, I think you will see that it is easier than many of the other methods.

    How do you know which reef heart is active/needs to be killed?

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to watch the guardian generally. When you are below in the pool you will see the symbols lit up, but that won’t tell you which to do first. If you mob around when they proc though you will see it when they move to it and start channeling.

    Just so I'm clear, one tank takes the fresh mini spawn and moves it to the next opening and just keep doing this?

      How exactly you manage the bosses is up to you and you group. There are several ways to do it based on your groups skill and Dps. What I would recommend for the broadest audience is to have the MT take most of them and for the ot to take the adds and maybe one of them if 3-4 are active at the same time. It’s the adds that need to die though as they hit the hardest.
      After the first split where you separate them, you just move to the next opening every time they activate on a reef. You can stack them all together with the adds.
      Some newer groups find they get to many splits this way though, and so you can have the guardians and adds you want to Dps on the near side of the opening and have the ot stack the extras you don’t want to split on the other side of the opening. Basically the splits are health gated, so if you want to control how many you have active at a time, have the ot hold a few out of group so they won’t take damage and split.
      Having to many up causes more reef heart events where you have to send down Dps, more adds from those procs and more for your tanks to hold. So it’s very much up to the group.

      I know that’s a complicated answer but it just depends. Let me know if I can follow up and clarify anything.

      @@Nightharrow Thank you that's helpful.
      A different question pls, do the bosses activate reefs at a certain hp or is it time based? If neither, what triggers them to run off and start activating a reef?

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not health based and I’m pretty sure it’s time based, but I’m not sure on the intervals and/or if there are complicating factors (like not procing within some number of seconds of some other mechanic, etc…).

    What build does that cro tank have? 50k HP, no bone armor slotted, I want to be like them!

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha nah, you don’t need that much health! I just hadn’t switched some of my armor enchants from max health to stamina or magicka, and then had a warden healing me which gives and extra 10% health.
      As for skills/bone armor, I made this video some time ago but it’s still pretty good. Hope to update it soon. I’ll link a couple others you might find helpful as well.

    Does the boss stop being immune and activating a reef when the reef heart below is killed or will it continue even if the reef heart is dead?

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep, he is stunned for a bit (10ish seconds?) and then he stagers off after the group so you can Dps him.

    confused on the cleansing area, you mention needing to cleanse and then edit cut the video to some area with levers that doesnt even look like the fight. How do you get there and you have to go there every 5ish stacks as dps heal?

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that is an area you have to go through before you get to this boss. The area you cleanse in is marked by the faint lightning on the ground. It’s generally curved slightly.

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So what I’m referencing in the video is the preview mechanic area basically. It’s the entire area with the mini boss, so you should be good by the time you get to the reef guardian.

      @@Nightharrow got it so during reef guardian fight the cleanse areas are the big green circled areas from the addon im presuming, so when poison stacks high walk in circle to drop stacks and resume, that makes sense to me know if im understanding it correctly.
