True, but they let you too much in ets/ats, they let you more than they should. Some AI drivers turn into good guys for no reason, letting you through when you're just waiting normally to turn.
I am still missing that trucks are way too easy to use. I wish that there would be payware models which are more realistcally modelled (like in MSFS or P3D). I mean study level truck simulating real weights, real forces, all subsystems, driving assistance, dashboard computer, independent tanking of ad blue and diesel oil or even more realistic tachograph simulation. Even the simulation of air conditioning, like in OMSI. I hope some day we will see DLC/payware mod with that kind of detailed truck hopefully.
Good that you mentioned OMSI! In reality ETS2 is really just a game with the simulator name stamped on it, I wish they would invest some time in 1:1 maps, and as you mentioned everything from the details yourself, the immersion isn't really there yet to me, it seems like an arcade with whatever mods there may be now. Hopefully we'll see some realistic truck simulator somewhere in the future.

There's a lot to unpack here, but I'll do my best, happy to help you out :) If you have any more questions, might be easier to talk on discord, if you have one - if not that's okay. 1. No mods reset the game fully. Some mods reset you back to your original garage, that's a technical thing as the game content changed. In the newest 1.47 update, I believe you can choose which city you want to be teleported to. 2. Most trucks have digital speed readouts on the dashboard, but not all. You can press " i " on your keyboard to cycle through different dashboard pages in a truck, most have a page for speed and a page for cruise control. I found this mod to move the route advisor(forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=234726) it should work on 1.47 version, but I have not tried it. 3. Extra lights can be bought from "Service" stations (look for the red wrench icon on your map), or if you look at your trucks in the game menu, you can customize them there, just not the one you're currently driving. As for side lights, I don't know of any. It can be a problem at night, but you'll just have to manage somehow. 4. The truck configuration should not change the jobs you can take. If it's a under powered truck, you might get a warning, but you can still take the job. The available jobs change all the time and it can depend on where you are on the map. If you don't have any jobs you'd like to take, you can just advance the time and some might become available. Most new trucks in real life have a automatic gearbox anyways, so using that is pretty realistic :)
you are missing one key point of Realism which i am so happy that in a new update they added it..... Real steering wheel lock!! you can choose degrees of rotation in the settings.. realistically ive kept at 2200 degrees.. most truck steerings turn that much! hope you use it and let me know~!
I don't want to give the wrong impression with the video, you see tuned trucks on the road quite regularly, but they are still a lot more rare than these basic trucks. Mostly smaller companies with a few trucks. If you're working at a regular, relatively big transport company, you're more likely to drive something like this, rather than a pimped out truck.

The most important part being the engine chosen on the truck. As you are trying to simulate what we can see in real life, I need to let you know that a 370 engine would be a horrible idea and there is almost no way to find something like this in southern Spain, this is due to the amount of hills there are, and not only that, but also, usually, the journeys are to western-central-northern Europe, so there are even more big mountains in there. How do you get ways on the dashboard?
Why my gps in the window not showing route just show the word "GPS"
Please how can I also play this game.....I really live it...can you put me through
was in my suggestions, great video although you can add as many mods as you want but your driving is not realistic, or should i say the game doesnt allow for such realism, (although your driving isnt that great lol, going straight out into the left lane at 2:30 then moving back to the correct lane) sorry if that is harsh but you put the video up
That happens when you aren't familiar with the roads. I'm also a truck driver in real life, so I might not take the game as seriously as I should for these videos.
Hi, where can I get the navigation you have in the window?
The most realistic thing is missing in the video - driver's hands...
True :D
What suspension mod do you use or if its default what are your settings
No suspension mod, both sliders are roughly in the middle. a little to the right.
@@alpha2project Gotcha thank you
how to install the Raku Navi mod. I am able to download it but cant figure out how to install it.
Just treat it like a .scs file - put the .zip file in your mods folder and you're good to go :)

I am Playing this game in my PC RYZEN 5 5000 series. But my game has not detailed graphics and purity in gameplay. Can somebody help me answering my question.
If it's blurry, try increasing resolution scaling in settings. It has a big performance impact tho.
What mods do you use please
Mods are linked in the description.
Looks good but sounds completely unrealistic. 370bhp is a straight 6 not a v8
Bro,, is this the lastest version
That was on 1.46
