Oh Kathleen, as a fellow GM, I felt that steering during the interview. "Here's this detail I heavily imply to be important, player!" Player overlooks it cause their focus is elsewhere.
Thank you Jordynne for including a piece of Bylaw and Order in the Highlight Reel this week, as I had been putting off watching the show until yesterday. Now I have watched some 11 hours of it
Very happy with this second season so far. It feels like it's building on the first season and on mtg lore in ways that are really cool and intriguing. For me, Kathleen's writing is really hitting that sweet spot of hilarious and interesting. Excited for more!
1:19:50 Annabelle: Calling it now. There's a rift/warp portal thing in the bog that's probably attached to another bog in a different plane or the sea or something.
It's really remarkable to see that even when Kathleen is doing something that seems a little out her comfort zone (dungeon diving) she still manages to completely ace it by playing into one of her strengths (delving into the interesting minutiae of a world so hard that flavor text becomes adventure) I am working real hard on being that flexible!
Okay, listen, I really, really need to talk to any of you who can or who thinks they can make plushies: there's this event in November called Desert Bus For Hope... and you have no idea how much I'd give to charity for a Kraulumbo toy. Seriously. NO idea.
Okay, I had just been listening to this, but I flipped back over in time to see the map of the site, and a page that's just 90% *BOG!* is SO funny. 😂😂😂
I feel seen by Kathleen. I too have made many drugs and their combinations for my players by their request...And now feel like I must have them always be available.
It's likely something similar, but the problem with an omenpath specifically is that permanent omenpaths are recent (post-phyrexian invasion), and Kathleen said the failed attempts to drain the bog predate that. Assuming she's sticking with the canon of omenpaths.
What an absolute labour of love, and I couldn't be more impressed with this series, well done Kathleen and cast 👏 👌 ❤

I hope we get to see Kraulumbo again before this season finishes.
One more thing

Loving that Dice Friends is back. Feeling nostalgic for Somolo Plateau with the warring bakeries, and greatly looking forward to Not A Drop To Threenk

"There's only so much water in Ravnica!"
Ah. There it is. This is where you can see this was created by a professional writer.

2:16:05 poor Ian. Every d&d player has been there, on a day when the dice just won't co-operate.

My guess is that there is an Omen Path under the Bog, that fills the bog with water all the time.
The distinct stink of Ravnica is the kind of attention to detail I appreciates about Kathleen as a DM.
Is that what you appreciate about her? 😏
That Pop Team Epic reference *chef's kiss*
Kathleen "You know you could always try out the drugs" De Vere
Airhorn for "not bogchamp"
Kraulumbo was amazing, I didn't expect that at all
Wheeler saying yes to all the drugs is the greatest.

the tiny four armed trench coat is the tricky bit
Had a lot of fun this episode! Especially when Slokk did the thing.
Bylaw & Order: Slokk Sees the Time Knife
Yeah, yeah. We've all seen it.
Check the Environmental Impact Study that should have been done at the beginning of the design process. 🤔😉

The seeing smells bit reminded me of good old Discworld Noir. Small wonder, after all, we are all followers of Errata.
Wow not even the half mad dragon could drain the overbog!
I get a sneaking feeling that the bog is tied to the omen path...

2:27:43 What in the Wolfenstein!? JUDGE!
Wheeler is just describing a normal band practice
All I'm learning is this is gonna be a long drug filled campaign
1:28:29 IAN. NO.
Wait, is this Ravnican "Chinatown"? (The movie) - Murder tied to a massive construction project and huge layers of cover-ups
Breendo Dearman will return!
