My desire for more of this series is impossibly immense. Every time I run out of new episodes to watch, I feel like I understand a little more what a vampires hunger is like; and my vitae is apparently too strong to be sustained off of rewatches. All jokes aside, I love this series, and every time a new episode pops up it makes my day feel infinitely better; I appreciate the work y’all put in to this immensely, and can’t wait to see where all these characters’ stories go
I feel some distress realizing that the next session is the end of this Chronicle, but there's surely no way they won't continue it. It's way too good, and everyone is clearly enjoying themselves way too much to stop now!

so what I'm hearing is that T-Buck kept his valuables in Ashen Lake also the messy crit causing a hard cut to "you had a nice conversation and cleaned up the bathroom together :) " was excellent. Edit: Jordan Hinkleman will definitely 'babysit' T-Buck. Babysit him into the grave!
At around the hour mark where everyone was debating how to "clean" the scene I had a RP though - if T-Buck's place burned down, word would likely get to Sweetwater so he'd reach out to T-Buck probably by phone to check his meth-cook was still viable and suggest where he can set up a new lab. Seems like a great way to deal with the lab, find Sweetwater and then T-Buck is no longer needed... I need to start playing less morally grey characters in RPGs...
I will say this episode has brought out the biggest emotional reactions from me. Between Marge, T-Buck, and the players, the amount of *frenzied raptor screaming* is very high.

The power of Vicissitude would be incredible for gender affirming surgery. In fact, it could even be used to transplant functional reproductive organs, not just plastic surgery (at least in previous editions of Vampire; 5th reduced Vicissitude to a subset of Protean, so I don't think the explicit rules of Graft Life to Life exist in 5th aside from homebrew and fanmade rulesets). But that makes me wonder how Jacob would feel about Brenda Summers: A young transgender med student, embraced by a 9th Generation anti-Sabbat Tzimisce (not all Tzimisce are Sabbat, after all, as rare as that may be). Brenda has the Consensualist Feeding type, strong Convictions including the Hippocratic Oath, and a personal philosophy that includes the beliefs that vampires should electively self-terminate after a normal human lifespan and should serve humanity (not as a food pun, but actually put effort in to bettering the lives of all humans). How quickly would Jacksob ruin Brenda's unlife by throwing Camarilla and Sabbat at her? . . . or Inquisition?

I have to assume that the Bestial Failure rules changed between development and print; I've observed many people who worked on VTM saying "If a Hunger die rolls a 1 and you have no successes, it's a bestial failure", but the official rules text says "A failed roll (not enough successes to reach the Difficulty or to beat an opposing contestant’s number of successes) in which one or more Hunger dice come up a 1 is a bestial failure" which is much more likely to occur. There are a few things, like Taking Half, that were in development and didn't make it to print. I assume this is one of those things?
You are correct on the rule, and Jacob is not following it. In fairness, the way he's dealing with Messy Crits kind of incorporates consequences of a Bestial Failure with Messy Criticals, so it may just be to keep the pace of the game going because Bestial Failures are kind of "Fun Police" in general. By combining the effects into Messy Crits and minimizing Bestial Failures by making them VERY hard to get, it probably makes the game more enjoyable to watch.
As a lasting effect of Silas' actions, I'd love to see him just subtly gain a mild video game addiction which interferes with his research, and an appreciation for Top Gear.

I'm really enjoying this game but it makes me sad that it will end (eventually) and I can't expect a happy ending. I love happy endings.
