We need more such expressways connecting Mumbai to Chennai, Mumbai to Bangalore, Hyderabad , Chennai to Kolkata , Kolkata to Delhi. And most importantly we need at least 8 late expressway and a substitute underground road connecting Kolkata to the North East Regions. Govt has invested well in connecting with the Jammu and Kashmir, its high time we extend that kind of investment to Assam, Arunachal , Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, etc.

I dont understand why they opted for ROW expansion in case of Delhi Mumbai expressway. It would unnecessarily escalate the cost of expansion since they have to redevelop all the rain water harversting structures they are developing as a part of the project
