During this DIY project, we encountered a common frustration among Accord owners: the lack of clear guidance on the amount of Transmission Oil needed. With no dipstick provided by Honda, we had to resort to an experiment. By draining the old oil and meticulously measuring the quantity, we confirmed the precise amount required - 4 quarts.
This experience shed light on a design flaw in Honda's transmission system, but armed with our findings, we confidently completed the oil change. We urge you to consider performing this maintenance sooner rather than later. Not only is it straightforward, but it's also crucial for preserving the longevity of your car's transmission.
