This is great presentation. When I compare it to the Cerec Bluecam I had around 2010, its a massive advance in all scanners. I never managed a full mouth scan. Just sectional were good enough for my needs. Thanks again. Your resource is a great go-to site for anyone interested in a market that has taken far too long to take off in the UK.
Thanks for this great presentation.. But I'd ask difference between panda scannner and runyes ?? Which one you will prefer betwenn both ?? If I will buy my first scanner , which one you advice me to use ?
Thank you. I only used the original and the 3.0. I think the difference between 2.0 and 3.0 was mainly nomenclature but when in doubt I would always just get the latest one.
does this runyes scanner have an orthodontic simulator program like in aoralscan ? although it has the option for an orthodontics scan i'm concerned that i will not b able to show my patients a simulation. or is it that we can use a third party software for the same? can you please guide?
Hey there, currently it does NOT have an orthodontic simulation software. This may come out in the future however as they have been developing their software a lot! Third party - you can use medit orthodontic simulator on their software, Medit Link
Haha love it. Always honest my friend. Both great. Runyes impressed me and I recently reviewed it. The company has done a huge improvement to their software. Helios 500 is more economical and the company is being very aggressive with price. Software is still the part they need to improve but working on it. All scanners work these days.

hi doc! The newer model of this scanner straight to pc/laptop now so thats a nice QOL update!
Not this one but the updated one goes straight to PC

In ur opinion I test both is good rly and runyes have Intraoral camera and metal detector

Their apps are only usable with Runyes scanners. You cannot use it with other scanners.
Can the Runyes be used with Mac Pro ??
No. Only Medit scanners can be used with Mac.

I always tell all dentists, the most important thing is support. So ensure the distributor in your region is good.
