I noticed my phone does weird things at times since I downloaded the app. The phone I use for TikTok is on my 2nd phone (my spare phone) with nothing on it but normal apps and stuff you would see on any phone. So yes, there is something going on in the background with that app.
Btw TikTok is listening to us while it’s off. My native language is not English but I mentioned out loud the game The Sims twice and ten minutes later I opened TikTok and the second and the third video I saw were from someone playing the game...
