I love how Dong-Eun just turned everyone of the bullies against each other. She didn’t even have to do anything.
She did have to commit her own mother into the insane asylum though. Then again, when your non-family enemies will use your own family against you, safeguarding your only weakness pays dividends.
I love she makes accidental kills like agent 47
@@rlouie05I don't think she admitted her mother into the asylum to safeguard herself. I mean she would have gotten rid of her faster if that was the case. She genuinely tried to give her mother a chance to change but that old bitch proved time and again that she was unrepentant. I feel so bad for Dong-Eun. Despite everything that her mother had done to her, she always kept forgiving her. She came to the apartment with the intention of asking her mum to vacate the apartment so that she could return it to the landlady. I don't think she ever had any intention of taking revenge on her mother, but after that night, she finally realized that she was irredeemable. Of course it also served her purpose to have her mum locked away so she won't be in her way anymore but I just don't think that that was the main reason why she did it.
@@s_shaleh Either way, her mother enabled enough events even if she didn't necessarily had the power to stop the bullies given the latter wielding nearly absolute power during their teens.
@@rlouie05 well that mom is a b*tch who deserves nothing but to rot in a insane asylum where she belongs she is horrible to miss moon
The best part is she didn't get her hands dirty in between all of this
Only dirtied her own hand when it came to her mother because she felt responsible to handle that herself. As for the others they handled one another. Brilliant
@@TheMaskedChef7 wouldn’t say that. It was the treatment her mother needed. You can’t tell me that her mother was sane
@@minminoppa4652 what are you talking about I didn’t say her mother was sane!
@@TheMaskedChef7 no her mom actually needed help. She didn't stage a scenario but let the psychiatrist judge her themselves, she didn't say a word.
Let the group do all of the work 😅😂
One of the most satisfying scenes is when Dong-eun admits her mother into a care facility. That woman was nothing short of devil incarnate!
I loved that scene
That is my favorite scene .
Dong-eun's mother was the best arc of the series because it was a real wild card; something Dong-eun had never anticipated. Whenever Dong-eun was talking to Yeon-jin and co. she was always calm, but her demeanor changed whenever she faced her mother, because she is her one weakness. Little did Dong-eun know, Yeon-jin also had her own hand to play.
That's one of the great things about this series: the antagonist doesn't completely go down without a fight
I was hoping somebody would beat her ass she was emotionally and verbally abusive to her own daughter she even tried to fight her daughter several times
I don’t know why she didn’t kill her mother brutally after all that
the best part of her revenge is that she even made friends go against each other to make things easier
edit:alr im back after 8 months and 10k likes ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh never ever had more than2k and 10k love u all so much
They are already ah to each other
So smart of her to do that. If the 5 of them would work with each other to go against her, she would be at a disadvantage. She separated them and took them one by one
She exposed the hypocrisy of their friendship; they never truly liked or cared for each other. They all had dirt stashed away on each other if the time ever came where one of them would take a fall. Misery loves company.
She did want to test the strength of alliances between abusers and victims
I gotta admit. Dong Eun's revenge is the smartest and sweetest of all. Without involving any physical assaults, she goes for their weaknesses and make them turn against each other
That can’t even be called friendship. They were a pack of beasts torturing their victims and destroying each other, to our satisfaction, in the end! They were united by greed , boredom , cruelty and the believe that they are untouchable and some kind of elite .What a mistake! Kudos to the writer!!! The script was amazing.
Wolves are always a pack and have some sort of comraderie…they are just something else altogether 🤦🏻♀️
Maybe no one else could stand them. They probably had a reputation in their social circles!
Hyenas they are hyenas not wolves. Wolves don't eat living being.
Their hubris was their doom. Dong-eun got some luck with Yeo-jeong though, as it took some additional resources to get even more dirt to tip the scales permanently in her favor.
Their own arrogance was their demise
Lim jiyeon's acting is really worthy of endless awards in this one. The scene where she acts like a weather forecaster in the jail left me speechless. Props to her!
Totally! I don't know if everyone understood it, but likely the other inmates are HER bullies now, and she is the victim. Hence the quickness with which she stood up and put on a show for them.
@@19chubbyisoo91 yess exactly!
I saw the behind the scenes clips of her needing to decompress after that scene was over. It took so much from her emotionally. She was portraying a complex mix of emotions.
Honestly she did such a good job in this role. And I mean, while I was watching I got so angry because of her haha. That just really shows good acting.
@@19chubbyisoo91 Ahh I saw it like she was gripping onto the only semblance of her former life. But this makes it much more impactful
Most of us don't realize how intricate and detailed her planning was. She researched the hell out of her targets: their connections, the people closest to them, their weaknesses and stigmas, their assets, their desires, Every. Single. Thing. Her main weapon is knowledge. If you possess that much knowledge on your side, you don't even have to do that much work. You just have to know *precisely* where to hit them. And the results? Not an instant kill but rather a slow burn. That's way more terrifying (and thoughtful) than just killing them on the spot
Exactly and that is why the bullies end may not be climatic for some (some reviews called is terrible) but it was the best. Cause they are all in their hell! Sa-Ra lost her freedom. Myeong O lost his life. Hye Jeong lost her voice. Jae Joon lost his eyes and his daughter (if he survived that fall). Yeon Jin lost everyone around her !
Dong-eun will make an amazing teacher in Ji-san prison, and her work alone is good enough for her to become a detective or spy or police officer. I like how she just happened to combine two of her greatest strengths for her career.
i must admit it was incredibly satisfying to watch all of their lives fall apart. especially Yeon-Jin.
Sun Tzu famously said, ‘If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles’.
@@Raven62 Jae-Joon not only lost his eyes, he lost his life at the hands of Yeon-Jing's husband and rightfully so.
What's even better is how she didn't have a direct hand in the bullies' downfalls. Their own fake friendship and general awfulness were the ones who hurt each other then themselves. It goes to show narcissist don't really form friendships, they form convenient companions.
Yep
exactly
Thanos: She used the bullies to destroy the bullies.
i heard a good portmanteau...think psychopath + narcissist...= narcopath
This!
For me the best part of the show is that after learning Moon's story every side character says: "YEAH, you go girl, ruin them!" instead of trying to talk her out of the revenge
She was tortured harassed and physically assaulted every day at school did you not see her burns
@@teresadownes2422 that was the whole point of the TV series, so yes, I know that. You probably misunderstood me. I am NOT saying they should have stopped her. But usually in revenge-based movies most chatacters try to talk the main hero out of their plan. Like "no, don't do that, you will lose youself, your enemies are not worth it" etc. Here everybody immideatelly realized how horribly Moon was treated and supported her, that is kinda cool
@@teresadownes2422 Tf is with the attitude? They said the best part was other characters endorsing the revenge, dumbass.
@@ksennus Sad that you had to explain that to them even though you said them endorsing the revenge was the BEST part. 🤦♀ Ignore the dumbass please, if they're offended because they can't read correctly or misinterpreted what you said, that's their problem.
@@ksennus the guy even tried to talk her out of it, but immediately took it back after seeing her scars. i like that it shows that revenge might consume your entire life, but some people just have to get what they deserve for what they did, to serve justice and give the victims their dignity back - also, to save others from further harm. how is one supposed to live and move on after being tortured the way Dong-eun was? She knew perfectly well how horrible these people were and used their own crimes to take them down, so in a way, it wasn't even Dong-eun who ruined them, but themselves.
It also showed there is a way out of that loop and there is life after that ever consuming revenge if you surround yourself with kind people and find a reason to keep on living
I love that the bullies are so used to being on the top that they are actually not very smart and not very resourceful. In the end, they are not able to control all of the victim's plotting.
So true
They are so sure that they have their victory, they never think of the possibility that they can lose. Too much pride, I suppose.
If they had banded together, with their combined money and power they could have buried Dongeun. But their own toxic relationships, the way they tear each other apart, lack of trust for one another, are always jealous or resentful of someone else in the group, was part of their downfall. Dongeun knew they were more likely to turn against each other.
Did anyone else laugh when Hye-Jeong started shaking the eye drop bottle and mixing it with the fake stuff while smiling and laughing. If he wasn’t so mean, he would probably still be able to see 😅
Me hahaha
I mean... he doesn't need to be able to see anymore... (I'm afraid to spoil the ending so I can't say more than this)
@@sofea147 let's say he has cemented his reputation as an a**hole 😌😂
wait what did she replace the eye drop with?
@@joongie3834 My guess is hand sanitizer. Dong-eun had mentioned windshield washer fluid as well, but that stuff is blue, not a colorless clear liquid like hand sanitizer can be. It was a clear liquid Hye-jeong put in the eye drops bottle.
Ok but you gotta admit these villains were beautifully written, they added so much depth and entertainment to the show and their acting is phenomenal
They were so good at pissing me off, I didn't really had a choice but to praise their performance for it.
They really out did themselves as bullies. I hated their guts. (Love the actors though)
Yep, you know the villains are well-done when the actors portray them as utterly despicable, dishonorable dogs who deserve to be put down.
one of the villain is a real life bully so some of them weren't really acting.@@verentyee5413
One moral of the story: don’t be friends with people who do terrible things, because there’s very little stopping them from doing terrible things to you too.
Or maybe you are so indulged with them now that when you think of leaving u can expect them to do the same thing with you.. So to be on the safer side you stay with them till you have to cause you have no other choice
Birds of the same feather flock together. Bad people befriended bad people. So they can do bad things together. Same as the other way around. It's instinct.
fr
I would say moral is bullies have cruel awakenings and they end of reaping the seeds they plant one way or another. Always be kind to people.
It doesn't cost a thing to be decent, to be kind. To begin with, I don't and will never understand why some "people" think hurting others is ever alright or that the repercussions won't follow.

Yeon-jin faced the maximum of loses since she was the main person among the bullies.
She lost friends,husband,daughter ,her mom!👏

Well at least she’s still alive. I think Jae and that other guy getting killed is top punishment lol. I hope Choi is able to sue TF out of Sa-Ra’s family and get something though. She’ll be mute the rest of her life. She deserves her own revenge now too.

By this drama I have learned to never back down from what is wrong and unjust
This show also teaches us that we all will have to pay for our Karma.
2-3 days later: *Fight for feminism
I liked the fact that the show illustrated how the Institutional Systems ignore what doesn’t fit the “money is most important” approach…so much pain, profiting and ignoring what vulnerable young women were being subjected to…

I love how she tecnically did everything but nothing at the same time; i mean the bullies basically hurt each-others trying to blame one of them when they're all criminals actually. This show is gold.
I get the feeling that one way or another, the bullies will tear each other apart even without Dong-eun's intervention. She is there to speed things up.
Jae Jun went from colourblind to fully blind...oh how poetic

In my opinion, this is one of the best smoothly structured miniseries I have seen in a long time. There have been many good television series produced over the years. It's rare to find a steady intrigue with masterfully crafted scenes and powerful performances like The Glory.
Watch eve, eve is much good than gory. Eve is also about revenge and I believe that was the perfect revenge you could take from someone even much better than glory
@@Yunaaenjoyty for the recommendation i wanted to watch more series similar to The Glory
I love a pro-revenge story, just seeing those flashbacks and knowing that they're probably just a fraction of what happened to her...we can't dismiss her pain cause "she'll be just as bad as them". Also love how this wasn't a Kill Bill style revenge, she said "Why kill you when I can make you wanna die?" 😭 She came after them with evidence and exposed only the truth.
The best part is yeon jin can finally do a presentation without a script🫶🏻🫶🏻
Edit: I forgot about this comment and suddenly i’m famous now??? Mom, i’m famous😭

Lmao y’all are petty asf I love it
We’re so proud of her 🥳😂😂
Okay....this wins. 😂😂😂😂
Ye Sol is the best kid ever. She's smart and is not having any of her mother's bs.
Yes I love the scene where she tells her mother she doesn't want to be like her smart kid
And the father was such a greenflag. Even Ye Sol is not from his blood, he loved her unconditionally. ♥️✊
My favorite revenge scene is when Moon exposes the truth to the teacher's son. She told the son that his father is extremely dishonorable for protecting the bullies. She told him how his father expelled her and chose to beat her up just because she stated. "How would you feel if this was your own son getting bullied? Would you care to protect him or his abusers?" After Moon told the truth to the son in front his father, the teacher totally felt very humiliated and stunned. The next day the son took away his father's asthma breathing tube. His father needed it to help him breathe. The father begged his son. But the son refused to give back his asthma tube. In the end, the teacher got his bad karma back by being exposed, humiliated, and left to suffer and die by his son. The son was very ashamed of his father and he knew that his father didn't deserve any mercy. Especially for what he did against Moon.
The cherry on top is that the son wasn't just ashamed of his father. If the story of how the father treated DongEun in the past comes out, it will not only jeopardize his upcoming promotion but also the whole family's current reputation and good name ... So the son is actually saving his skin by sacrificing (aka disposing of his father) before Dongguen reveals the truth... The son that he is so proud of is the cause of his death.. very poetic
Actually, the reason why the son killed his father because he didn’t want to pay money for his father’s life service and Ms Moon asked him to do that or she would make him embarrassed and lost his work by sending the documents into the internet. It’s not because he’s good. He’s also selfish and cruel as his father
@@angeljehan7794 ikrr and he was the one to use lilies to exacerbate his father's asthma.
@@angeljehan7794 Yes, the son knew if the story came out it would damage his reputation completely and he wouldn’t get the promotion because of his father’s past actions so rather than see his image get tarnished, he decided to kill his father for what he did to Dong-Eun 17 years ago and stage it like it was accidental to save himself.
That scene was difficult for me to understand as an American.....or maybe a middle class American? 😅 I couldn't understand why he killed his dad. Cultural differences I supposed. An entire families reputation wouldn't generally be ruined by one bad seed.
Absolutely love yeon-jin becoming so alone that her own mother rejects even knowing her. Gotta live a life that knowing her once precious daughter disowned and is ashamed of her existence. No money. No family. Forever broken reputation. Nothing she can ever do to live her former life. She is mostly being bullied in prison where she can't do anything as she no longer has access to money or mommy and daddy to make problems go away. She lives a life of lonely hell. Even after being released from prison, good luck! Probably wouldn't even land a job at a convenience store. Poetic justice is just ... so poetic.
Excellent points - revenge is definitely a dish served cold!
I haven't watched this, but why her mom did not want to recognize her?
@@m14-x1p because she blames Yeon-Jin for not killing Dong-Eun back when they were in high school like she did to So-Hee, otherwise none of them would have been in this mess
the thing is that they werent even “friends” they only stayed as “friends” is cause they all benefited from each other hence why they betrayed each other so easily and Dong Eun didnt have to get her hands dirty and she saw how fragile their “friendship” was
Yes that is so very true, as soon as one of them showed weakness the others would take advantage. It was never a friendship at all, one simply used the other just to save their own skin.
its strangely endearing that jaejun can understand hyejeong’s incoherence
Probably at some level of fluency the words fill in the gaps on their own
Exactly. If they hadn’t been such toxic people, they would’ve done quite well together.
It is also a read on the character - she's not the most articulate of souls, bless her.
Tbh she is the one that got away with it ,what happened to her is minor compared to the rest .
@@djihanehamdaoui2948 Yup. But then again, it would’ve been her if not Dongeun. I always thought Dongeun was going easy on her

Yeah. I wonder why? /s
Not only that, you got yourself into that mess.💀
@@Sueze the audacity she got to say that her life is hard…just you wait Yeonjin…more hellish days await you just around the corner
Dong-eun is cunning and smart in planning her revenge. She doesn't need to do the dirty work herself. She provokes/goads them, and in return, they start destroying each other.
Their friendship is so toxic.
Yep 💯😬
Not even friendship
True😊
What did he mean by 1 minute?
“Friendship”
All of the actors that showed up in this series did an incredible job of portraying each individual character. Just marvelous!🤧🤧✨✨
I agree! Especially Yeon-jin. I got so angry at her so many times during the show, really just shows good acting.
The ending gave answer to what Moon Dong Eun once asked "I wonder what's stronger? solidarity of the victims or solidarity of the perpetrators?"
Yep definitely the solidarity of the victims wins
I felt bad for Hyejeong, but her downfall really was down to overconfidence. She finally got to use dirt against those that put her down for so long and unforunately went on an ego trip.
I thought Hyejeong was a pathetic character, and I found it funny when she got picked on by Jae-jun. I don't know why she couldn't just cut off from her bully friends who made her feel so pathetic and inferior. Work on her career, find better friends and then show up to them as a success due to the fruits of her hard work without being born a spoilt brat into wealth. She is very silly and was lazy and self centred and took the easy option which often is not the best one. Hyejeong was also the prettiest of the group and could have used that to her advantage instead of just being a beautiful flight attendant. She wasted her life with horrible, mean spoilt brats who would hurt her and only for short-term clout. What a shame.
@@floralfancy7814couldn't agree more. Considering that she was like the outcast of the group and she always roasted Yeonjin and Sara, she could have left that toxic group already. Dong-eun already spared her from her revenge plan because at least she tried to help her by exposing Yeonjin to Doyeong. But sadly it was her choice to stay in that group which led to her karma.
If she only shut her damn mouth and stop laughing at others' suffering, her throat might be still intact. In fact, Dong-eun already spared Hye-jeong, the latter should have left the clique when she had the chance as Dong-eun hatched the plan to destroy the rest. But no, the latter has to be a drama queen. She might have every right to fight back against Yeon-jin, Jae-joon, and Sa-ra for putting her down, but she should learn patience and think of the larger picture. So yes, her downfall was on her own making.
I think Hye-Jeong only stayed in the group as long as she did because she had feelings for Jae-jun, since she went as far as breaking off her prior engagement to another rich guy when it seemed Jae-jun wanted her to be a mother figure to Ye-sol when he adopted her. Hence why his dumping of her after the neck-pencil incident hit her so hard. If she had just gotten out of Semyeong after doing what Dong-eun told her to do and cut contact with the group (on honeymoon or some other excuse) she could have kept her voice and her gold-digging engagement
I actually cheered on Hye-jeong when she went on the “ego trip” you mentioned. Sa-ra was always mean to her, so I thought it was fair game that she put her in her place. Or maybe I think like this because Sa-ra is my most hated character.
9:50 - The best part, success was when she got the bully’s daughter to see her mom for what she is and say Get out mom. I’m not going to be like you, not even follow your footsteps, career weather-caster. I’m out proud of you anymore. 👏🏻 👏🏻 Kids knows what’s right and wrong if shown, not mislead, lie to them.
It's impressive that every single episode was far from boring. What an amazing show.
When Yeon jin was bullied into presenting the weather, she looked so much like she lost her touch. She used to be very good at intimidating people. Now's she lost that ability. Meaning that the inmates with her are 10 times worse and tougher than her. You can say when yeon jin started tearing. Thats why they say, she might think shes the best and the toughest, but not the best of the best
Now she's the entertainment. And their geinea pig. ... And their target.
Very satisfying drama and end for the character and how toxic they were together destroying each other. She didn't have to do anything, they lead themselves to self-destruction which is why I adore this series so much. All of their acting was spectacular.
She planned for them to betray each other. It wasn't a coincidence
This series has whole bunch of real ACTORS and ACTRESSESS nobody dissapoints you.
The part where Ye-sol says 'I'm not proud of you anymore.' Literally hits. A mother hearing that from her child is something they never want but that is Yeon-jin fault to begin with for all that she has done
Ye-sol is an innocent angel. It’s because Do-yeong, her father, gave her the right values. And Dong-eun was her teacher.
This is the best kdrama I've ever watched
Yes it is love the glory ❤
Best movie is old boy. Human by itself is karma.
Me too
I agree
Dong-eun is like the myth of the apple of discord, when a group of people are vicious cruel selfish and arrogant throw in something in the middle and they will tear eachother apart without the apple having to do anything at all
Ohhh so that's why there's so many symbolism in the posters, and why it kept showing her at the garden of Eden under an apple tree

Probably an opinion people will disagree with, but I felt a tiny bit of sympathy for Hye-jeong. The others bullies made it known that she could’ve been their next victim under different circumstances, so it seems like she was living in fear of that being possible.
she is extremely selfish. remove her from society is actually not a bad thing tho. dong eun already spared her.
She was the least terrible out of them, she lost her voice, that's enough of a punishment
She never used her voice, to stand up for others or herself, and she lost it. A fitting end I think.
well she did get the least harsh punishment out of everyone tbh since she was the most moral one out of the bullies so she got spared, she didn’t go to prison or die, just lost her voice and imo she technically walked out unharmed.
@molly hye -jeong also lost the lavish life she always wanted, Dong eun made sure she would stay tne middle class life by ruining her reputation among the elite, she made her feel safe enough to stop working and this led her to dump her golden ticket to being rich
What a great story plot this drama has am so impressed. The way Moon dong eun doesn't gets involved directly with the bullies but creates the blunder among friends and they themselves start destroying each other what a revenge.
The plot twist of Myeong-oh's death was my favorite among all, incredible writer indeed.
There was never any friendship among them which was one of the reasons why Dong-eun was able to bring them down
Dong-Eun knowing that Hye-Jeong was the most looked down upon in the group and capitalising on that was key to the revenge
"If your punishment comes from me, it'll be a lot harsher, Yeon-jin."
Coldest

I didn’t like Jaejun for sure. But when his daughter saw him beating up that teacher… my heart broke in that scene 😭 I think it was the only time I thought he was pitiful
Same! But I thought it was so ironic and symbolic. He never cared what his assault did to someone but when it was his daughter he did. More symbolic his victim was there to watch
Since Hyejeong was so poor and also was teased a lot. She got lucky out of all aside from got stabbed. Someone died, someone got exposed on internet, someone in jail.
I think that’s probably why dong eun let her get revenge on jaejun. She couldn’t go back to her flight attendant job and her marriage prospects are low so she’s gonna suffer a lot unless she gets really lucky. Kyungran killed myeongo and dong eun helped her get away with since she’d already suffered a lot and it fit in with her revenge plan.

I love how the revenge doesn't need to put her hands over them to get their blood. They give each others blood thanks to her.
Yeon-jin's downfall was sooooo satisfying. What would have been better would be a shoe flying at her at the end and to be told to do it again.

It only took paranoia, family drama, buried secrets, and scandals to break these monsters apart mentally and emotionally one by one but it was so satisfying!
I just love her revenge…she had the kind of revenge she had always dreamt of and she succeeded 😂😂😂
The only lesson of this show is that people who are filthy rich aren't scary. What's most terrifying and scary is someone who doesn't have anything to lose because you know they will go far beyond worse if needed.
o please this doesn't happen in real life, in real rich people win
@@Thegamer-qd7ehI think you just have to find what makes them tick. Just because you’re rich doesn’t make you immune from everything. The plot and the cast was 💯👏
This was a brilliant series, especially for those who still have painful scars both mentally and physically from bullies and abuse.
This was Hands down the first kdrama that left me speechless 😮 and i'm not usually of a reacting nature when i watch shows (been watching kdramas for over 2 decades....
Seriously i loved it
I wish I could done what Moon Dong Eun did to her bullies...
Just like her, I suffered so much from my bullies during my High School Years; no physical bullying but more on verbal and emotional bullying... Even up until now, Everytime I remember those incidents it makes me feel helpless and mad... :(
Maybe this is why the director made this drama, it's a revenge for all bullying, for everyone whose innocent and couldn't fight back. I myself got bullying in school too and it's satisfying to watch this drama 🙏🙏🙏 i hope you and everyone who got bullies heal, not because the bully deserve that, but because you deserve a happy and better life 🙏🙏🙏
This show was brilliantly done. I binged it in three days. It was soooo good!
I want season 2. I want our sweet dr to get his revenge.
Hye Jeong proves to be an airhead time and time again, she could've just get married and admit all her mistakes early for forgiveness in order to continue living her life with lesser damage.
Instead, she's decided to break her marriage and stick to an useless unreliable colorblind man just because of her stupid crush on him and got left alone, lost her income forever and not to mention her voice as well.
Proving she was responsible for her own demise and dong eun never really needed to do anything to her.
Undeniably a great actress.
The writer of this series really knocked it put the park. It was an excellent 16 episodes start to finish. Beautiful.❤❤❤❤
see no evil (jaejun) speak no evil (hyejeong) do no evil (the other 3)
Hear no evil (Yeon Jin) because she will never knows/hear the truth that she didn't kill Myeong O
I never thought of that! Great catch! Also because that proverb was used to explain people turning a blind eye to bad behavior - like all of the adults that the bullies came in contact with, the homeroom teacher, the police, the parents, and even the gym teacher. This story was masterfully written.
It all starts in the family... Yeon jin's Mom - who is not really a "mother" created the bully out of her. To all parents, learn how bring up a child first before bearing one.
Every child deserves a parent. It doesn’t mean every parent deserves a child.
Instead of raising her daughter to be a decent human being, she focused her time, attention, and money on a shaman. A shaman who was using her abilities for some rather "shady" methods while lining her own pockets.
Fun isn’t something one considers when ruining lives. But this….does bring a smile to my face.
Man the bullies grew up to be just spoiled children in adult bodies; throwing tantrums and screaming at everyone when things don’t go their way. Pathetic.
What you just said applies to Sa-ra.
I love how she destroyed them all from the inside by turning them all against each other, so she could kick them all down ……. Like yeah that was amazing
The fact that this based on a true story....is sick these arent bullies they're monsters filled with pride and rage
Have a feeling that yeonjin is probs bullied in prison too with how quickly she did what they asked her to do
She's lost all her power (money, mother, husband, daughter). She got nothing to fight back!
The only one I feel sort of bad about was Hye-Jeong. I felt like she was only trying to survive and the only one who felt some sort of remorse for what she did. I'm glad her ending wasn't as harsh as the rest.
Not really she didnt felt an ounce of remorse she was the one with no pride a compelete parasite
yeah dong eun spared her i think since she was the most moral, she didn’t go to prison or die.
@@whoknowswhoreallyknows Yes she did not get it as bad but because she laughed at and made fun of the suffering of others, she got her karma by not being able to ever speak again. Now she won’t be able to be a flight attendant and she will have a hard time finding a job because of her muteness.
@@mariofan2867She is not permanently mute. The doctor said that sometimes, voices come back. Hye-jeong can always recover her voice if she gets surgery. When you think about it, she could have gotten her voice back quickly if Jae-jun just spent a tiny bit of his fortune so that she could get a surgery for that. Instead, he abandoned her, so she gave him what he deserved.
Wouldn’t it be great if all bullies suffer the same fate. The sad reality is most of them escaped punishment and live a prosperous life while the bullied have to somehow pick up the pieces and move on 😢.
this is the best. if all bullies will go through hell like this, then this world will be a much better place. those mongrels who hurts others and pry on their weakness doesn't deserve any ounce of forgiveness. sadly, most of these rotten creatures gets away with their crimes and even lives a successful life despite what they did. The Glory rocks, legit 🙌👌👍
What's satisfying about her revenge was her hands were clean. She let their friendship do the bidding of betraying one another. For Yeon Jin, everything she wanted came crumbling down right before her eyes.
Yeon-Jin lost everything precious to her. Her husband, who's rich and powerful. Her daughter, who's her pride and joy. Her mom, who was willing to do anything for her until it was her life on the line and gladly betrayed her daughter to survive. Her friends, as crazy as they are was one of the few she has until they all betrayed each other.
I think yeon-jin's comeback lines are most amazing! kudos to the script writer!! the dialogues are ALL amazing!!
This drama made me love K-Drama. And taught me the words, "shibal", "michin sekiya", "jinjja?", "ottoke?"
lol it’s a common thing to learn the bad words first in a foreign language but never use the first two words….that’ll get you in trouble…the last two are fine haha
I will just say, watching this series is a whole satisfaction
10:52 she is a great actress that’s for sure
To be completely honest Dong Eun actually have one person who I think pivotal to break the chain of the evil alliance, Hye Jong... She did it all... So many parts are moving because of her. Sara posting the old video because of her poisoning Sara with narratives, taking Yeon Jin to the clinic, planting seed of doubt in Do-young, repoting myong-o missing, giving Jaejun a reason to break Yeon jin marriage with Myong-o recording, have you consider if Sara stay calm and silent she would probably ended up in rehab but Hye Jong keep egging her with the sex video to make her psychotic, she even delivering the fatal blow with eyedrops change to Jae Jun. I think she did almost 30% of the revenge.
Exactly it shows how smart dong eun plan of getting revenge without making any dirty work.
In fact, Hye-jeong is already spared by Dong-eun the moment she provided a critical info about Yeon-jin to Do-yeong. Her only mistake is that she didn't curb her penchant to laugh at other's suffering. If she remained quiet and didn't provoke Sa-ra about the video during Myeon-oh's funeral, Sa-ra wouldn't break into rage fit and stab her throat. She might be the only bully that will be completely spared by Dong-eun's vengeance if she addressed that particular flaw of hers.
@@burnedpotatoes720Honestly, if I were Hyejeong, I'd act all shocked like, "Sa Ra, is this really you? Why is this sent to us?"
Yes, and that, plus the apology she gave to Dong-eun, may imply she has some remorse, even if it’s minimal. I wish she got a redemption arc.
Had Hye-jong didn't have an ego trip to provoke Sa-ra during Myeon-oh's funeral, doesn't pine on Jae-joon anymore, and simply stays away from the bullies (or hide for a meanwhile until the dust settles down) as Dong-eun enacts her revenge, she could have been the only bully who can survive the onslaught.
She could have get what she wanted: Sa-ra and Yeon-jin's lives going to crap, have a stable life by marrying a rich husband and have stable job. Dong-eun already spared her because she is useful to her revenge plan and she does show remorse to her actions, which are exactly what Dong-eun wanted. If I were her, I would definitely play smart now and take advantage of Dong-eun's benevolence.
HJ could have been the only bully who could have learned from her mistakes.
This is truely satisfying revenge.
Thanks for making such an amazing series.
Thanks writer Kim Eun Sook.
And a wise warrior once said also:
"You don't have to argue with the wrong people. Sometimes you just need to sit back and watch clowns (bad people) do their own thing (foolishness)."
that's what the MC do. She lets them fall on their own, with their own dirty filthy hands, without getting her hands dirty. She use his cunning wits to trick and outsmart those fools.
Kudos to all the actors for such a fab job🙌❤
Without the Need of Watching Past K-Dramas Which Featured Namgong Min Oppa, Lee Yuri Unnie, Lee Soyeon Unnie & Park Hana Unnie as Homework References Before the Actual Shooting Starts. 👏👏👏👏
Absolutely brilliant show from the writing, direction and acting. Hats off to the entire team! Also the writing and acting is done so well you don't feel sorry for the bullies that they got what it's coming to them and you root for someone like Dong-Eun
I love it when ye sol speaks, she’s so cute
Hye-Jeong got the least severe payback from all the bullies by a long shot. All the others are either in prison or dead, she is the only one alive and free. She is no longer engaged to the rich man she was, but she could try again if she wanted, even though she probably can't be a flight attendant anymore. She got extremely lucky compared to the other bullies' fates.
I guess Dong Eun took it easy on her. She is the only one of the twerps that got on her knees and apologized.
I think that Hye-jeong can be a flight attendant again. All she has to do is get her voice back, since the doctor said it’s possible. She won’t be permanently mute, don’t worry about it. Also, I don’t think she’ll try to marry a rich man anytime soon.
@@82leegaryYou’re right, she’s the only who apologized. Even Yeon-jin made it pretty clear that she is not remorseful. Hye-jeong should’ve had a redemption arc instead of a neck stabbing.
Nothing has traumatized me as severely as this show. The Good Bad Mother had some heartwarming moments with the deep life lessons, but this was just torture. I still am shocked that this was based on real stories of victims from East Asia.
Well done, Dong-eun! You finally got your justice! This is what happens when you bully a smart student. We do our research. She defeated them by an old strategy. Divide and rule. It’s true what they say. United they stand, divided they fall
Sara got into a drug a scandal and got arrested because she stabbed someone in the neck, Hye jeong got stabbed in the neck and damaged her vocal cords. Jaejun went from colorblind to blind. Son myeong got killed because he’s a creep. And Park Yeon jin got into jail because she refused to apologize and change and got punished for two murders ( one murders who she didn’t committed) and the best part is that the revenge of Moon Dong eun didn’t got her hands dirty because they destroyed themselves. They didn’t change a bit since high school. If they just learned there lesson than all of this could’ve been avoided. I really hope they rot in to this hell ❤❤
Jaejun also fell down since he was pushed by Doyeong and turned into cement. Plus for me, Yeonjin is still Myeongo's killer. What Gyeongran did was self defense in my opinion since there were times that Myeongo sexually assaulted her and she did the right thing.
I think Hye-jeong should have had a redemption arc instead of a pencil stabbing. Sure, she can get her voice back, but she’ll probably have PTSD from that attack. Plus, she apologized to Dong-eun, and I feel like she is not really a bad person compared to the rest of them. A redemption arc would have suited her more. I also wish Sa-ra died.
I don’t understand how most people are saying that ending is not that great. The bullies part at least since we all know that the ending is a cliff hanger. The ending for the bullies is like poetic justice. She sowed the seeds of doubt and destroyed their friendship. She was open to others so that they could destroy themselves with lies and deceit. And the best part Yeon-Jin’s glory was her husband and she lost that. By extension it was her daughter too and she lost her. Dong-eun destroyed all of dreams from when they told her about it in the gymnasium. That gave me chills cause you it’s going to be epic when someone says that their dream is you!
“Why is my life so damn hard?”
The level of ego behind that statement.
Glorious revenge, set in motion by Dong-eun and the bullies, just self-destruct. The catalyst and domino effect.
ah when her daughter said her friend asked her if she is gonna bully her and that she is scared of her, my heart broke..coz criminals never think about how their actions affect their own family..i am so happy her daughter had a father like do-yeong and turned out like his father
The best revenge story ever. Love seeing the bullies getting their long overdue comeuppance.
I love the way the queen bee who intimidated her colleagues was made a fool in front of them all.
Best kdrama I've seen. I don't often watch them but this one gonna stick to me like glue for a while. I love a revenge arc
