After reading the comments about Courtney and Jordan lacking chemistry and/or not liking one another I went back and rewatch the video. After knowing the result and watching it with that in my mind I think it was obvious, especially from Courtney, that there was interest there. She was smiling the entire time and he was sending very subtle hints as well. I think Cut's edit didn't show as much of them as the other 2 couples and Jordan seems to have a very laidback demeanor/reaction to everything. But I definitely disagree with those that say that there was no chemistry and that they hated each other.

Well and like even if you do. I don't pick my friends based on their race, i pick based on who i vibe and fuck with. Also where you live can factor into the racial makeup of your friend group too. It's hard to have a ton of black friends or a ton of Asian friends or whatever if you don't live in a place that's very diverse. Or if for example a place like Los Angeles where it is diverse but every body sometimes stays to their parts of town like Little Tokyo, Little Armenia, etc, etc. Like... I thought I was the only one thinking it because I was confused when they said latina.
To be fair, what else are you used to call them in regards to race? Latina generally means Native South American mixed with white. But then you got a bunch of other races due to slavery. But wouldn't those people be considered whatever race based on what country their DNA is originaly from..particularly if they aren't mixed with anything Latino. It ain't even that important to me. People generally know what you mean by latino anyways.

A latino that's "not mixed with anything" *has* to be indigenous, but even then there are also mixed indigenous people.
It's hard to describe race beyond white, black, indigenous, asian and mixed in latinoamerica, reason why they used the ethnicity of latinoamerican as a stand in; that, however, doesn't make it a correct use of it, so just labelling the video as showing different ethnicities would correct that.
It's not that big of a deal, it's just that many people seem to conflate the two then find it weird when there are white and asian latinos when in reality it's really common

I think it all comes down to what we're used to, and what we're attracted to. I don't have a lot of people in my life to begin with, let alone those of another "race" or ethnicity. I once was fwb with a brown guy. He was sexy, confident, caring... but he was emotionally unavailable.
He was pretty much my only friend that wasn't white.
I think east Asians are very cute. Sexy, even. But most seem to date within their own, and I know I could never compete with a cute Asian girl, so I feel that one girl like no other 😅
Also, nobody of a different ethnicity has ever shown any kind of romantic interest in me.
Plus, I always thought other cultures looked at white people (mainly north Americans) like they're a joke. We have plenty of stereotypes pinned on us too. Also, I never learned how to talk to/about different ethnicities without accidentally offending. Because I'm so easily embarrassed and frightened, this has prevented me from wanting to interact. I'm sure if I had multiracial persons in my life, this would change and I would learn, I just feel like a garbage white person 🤷🏻♀️
And lastly I think that we're lost in a lot of stereotypes.
I grew up being told that all black men are dangerous. Wife beaters. Cheaters. Gang members. Murderers. Etc. It's absolutely horrible because it's not true, especially because white people are NUTS?!
For brown people it's more of the same. They beat their wives. Their wives don't have rights. Their husbands control every aspect of their lives. Again, horrible, because it's obviously not true (maybe in other countries but in Canada, not so much. Plus any race/ethnic group can be like that)

the amount of exposure you get from different cultures is such an incredible thing and dating someone out side allows you learn so much and come out of the bubble that is the world you were raised in.

@@gretehomann7556 from my experience, a lot of my friends who are not white choose to date within their own races because they don't want to teach/educate their partners on their culture. it's easier to share culture with someone who already understands it.
I agree with you. But it's also important to know that some people do mostly date within their own race/ethnicity because that's who they're around. So it doesn't mean that they dislike people in other groups, just that they're in a homogenous area.
Its not weird at all. Its actually very common . The majority of people date thier own race. Its what they know and grew up with and familiar with the most. I see no issue with it at all if they only wanna date within their own race. Do Whatever makes you happy.
A lot of times those exact differences can break a couple, we look for someone similar to us, mostly similar to us, obviously some differences cause that’s the spice of life but if we just don’t see life the same way, I don’t know how long it can continue. You can also get exposed to culture by having friends, dating, specially if you do it for life, that person has to match you in mostly everything, they gotta share the same values, and dreams, have to want the same things, etc… also add that people just have the opportunity to meet someone of another race that matches them very rarely, and that’s fine, the idea is to find a perfect match for you, not just pick someone because they are different. At least that should be what it’s all about.
