I am a 62 divorced mother with three beautiful kids very successful and support grown kids and now taking care of my aging mother while having a semi successful careers to be able to take care of my family . I was so inspired today while watching your video. I am in a transitional period of my life ( age 63 and retired as a chef) and am trying to figure out the next step. I have always struggled with work life balance and have always been a very hard worker, for someone else.
Your video inspired me to see that others have started over more than once and are thriving.
I also love your philosophy about living for today as we never know what tomorrow may bring!

You are SO creative and productive. I need to get up and get going on my dreams. It's easy to pin them to a vision board and then barely look at it. After years, I know for sure that I can't stand living in apartments in cities anymore: I thought that would be our future as we navigate early old age(!) but I can't cope at all. I want a garden and a golden hour and a view with no neighbours (even though they are there) and trees and roses. I love your land, the smallness; the human-scale of your home. And I want routines: I’m so random it's exhausting. I know you have good routines and I need to copy them. Living with the light has been a life-long goal ever since I visited a woman in Arizona who did just that - she used candles for a short time after nightfall but fell asleep shortly afterwards. She rose at dawn. I just love that. Life goes by so quickly - why are we so stuck? I've got to be bolder, braver. Thank you.

I love this story of yours. I worked as a remote area nurse in Australia for 20 years….and became completely overwhelmed and burnt out. Juggling a very demanding job, 3 children and a pilot husband……we decided to sell up everything and moved to India. It was incredibly difficult with 3 little boys and my husband’s demanding job….but I thrived. I have never gone back to nursing and don’t miss it at all. I’ve had time with my beautiful boys who are now aged 20-18-17. Sometimes we need to fall so far down to realise our new dreams and ambitions.
I just love watching you and your journeys. Looking forward to seeing the finishing of the house. Good luck to you and your husband and your furry babies.

So much to say. Amazing video. I can't imagine dealing with the decision to leave the medical field shortly after completing the monumental task of entering the field at all, then to be faced with difficulties in your next dream. I am so sorry. I am mad at my own San Diego and Santa Monica for not seeing the gifts you have! This dress is gorgeous, and I love how you and Pepe (I assume) filmed this project alongside the telling of your story. If you want to try again in the fashion world I am an eager customer.
