    Liked even before watching because floor press is number 1 for me no matter your pressing goals

    The 25:40 part makes me laugh cause Mark talks like a teddy bear but he says pace around and get pumped up, and he comes back with the face of a demon.

    What do you think about gymnastic rings push ups (like boxer Lomachenko), kettlebell bottoms up push ups, neurogrip push ups? Stable vs unstable surface for push ups and other exercises?

  • @theboltthrower8661

    As I don`t have a gym right now, and I do calisthenics, I`m doing different variations of explosive push ups.

    I didnt understand, the reason for the floor press instead of bench press its just because it safer for the shoulder and back?
    If there's other reasons i would like to know please and maybe run floor press instead of bench if it got any power advantage

    Sup Coach, i have a speciel request for you 😶i Think you have alot of viewers including me WHO arent Fighters. But like to get the benefits from the style of training like (explosivity, speed, Power, agility) but Also Would like to gain muscle through pure hypertrophy.
    Would you ever Consider making a program that incorporates bodybuilding style training and fighter style training. For u’s WHO dont fight. To get both benefits. I Would be first buyer🔥🔥🔥

    What’s the difference between what you do: keeping the legs straight + feet dorsiflexed and what Mark does : knees bent and feet on the floor?

    • @PhilDaruStrong
      @PhilDaruStrong  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I just had ACL surgery

    • @cayenne767
      @cayenne767 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, coach I’m aware and have been following your recovery process. I still cannot believe that you’ve been able to do all these things after surgery. You are a true gladiator! i was just wondering if changing foot and knee position would make a difference while executing the floor press - I have been doing it a lot, as I’m on week #3 of Fight Ready. thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us here on TH-cam and inspiring us to always strive 💪🙏🏽

    Why the chains ?

    • @nikolas4364
      @nikolas4364 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      because when the bar is lower the biggest part of the chain touches the ground so the bar is lighter. When you lift the bar the chain stops touching the ground so you have to lift a bigger part of it. It is like a band, when the rep is full it is heavier than when you start the rep.
