Friendly tip (I started commercial cutting at 15) I would of side discharged first then bag. Especially in the rain. The end product looks good though! Edit: i used to own a 90s honda. These are always beasts! Quadracut is so so good for even the wettest situation
Hiya mate!!! Thanks for the comment! I don’t have side discharge on my mowers mate! And it was so wet and long that it wasn’t going to rest discharge either! Was just clogging hah! So I thought bagging would be best! Yeah hondas are brill mowers mate. Thanks for the support !
Nice job in horrible wet conditions mate I respect you for dropping a days work to go and do it I would have said double my daily rate and I’ll be there if it worked out less than the jobs I had already booked in I’d priories my regular clients first Well done top work mate 💪🏼
Hiya mate! Thanks for the support as always bud!! Oh mate for sure sometimes you have to weigh up the pros and cons! It’s also a really good connection to have that was going through my head as well! Haha yeah it wasn’t far off what you’re saying there mate😉 haha I made sure it was worth it hah! Thanks for the support!
Hiya mate thanks for the support! Yeah they are really good mowers! Hah yeah you could chuck any mower in this and it’s not going to be pretty hah! Thanks again!!
With these types of jobs we tend to flat strim it all first, blow and rake in to a pile then run the mower over a couple of times at the end. Might take a little bit longer but nothing worse than constantly having to unclog the mower 😂
Yeah! With really long grass I would as well! But I think you’d make more mess doing it like that with conditions like those! Better to just constantly unclog her😂😂thanks for the comment!
That’s a brill job! Was your mower on the very top cut hight whilst cutting that? Doesn’t look that hight off the ground that haha! Good job as always!!
Hiya mate! Thanks for the support! Haha yes mate!!! That’s the max height mate!!!! I’m using the Honda HRD 536 and max height is 76mm mate! Haha think it’s just the grass is really long! Haha! Thanks again!
Wow that was a demanding tasking. That wet grass in the rain. Can’t imagine it looked pleasant upon the eye? Would love to know what you insisted on for that. Feel free to dm. I’m still learning lots and grateful for any steer. Well done 👍🏻
Thanks for the support mate! Haha no mate looked terrible! It will do for a couple weeks until it grows again! They really need to be keeping on top of it as I’ve cut right into the stem! Needs to be taken down lower really so the blade can grow up again! I won’t be giving a price for this job and like I said I charged them a completely different price. But I charged them the jobs I lost plus a day rate just to give you an idea!
Yeah was super long mate! Haha no mate the ego would not have done that mate! Yeah is the only problem with only using electric! Thanks for the support mate!
Oh mate tell me about it hah! They are a fair weather mower😂😂 yeah they hate the wet mate! Yeah haha good work horse though can’t fault it! Thanks for the comment!
Cant fault your mower at all, it handled that well, how long did it take you?... I would've probably took the bag off, let it discharge out the back and rake it up after
Thanks for the support mate!! Nooo this mower has deffo earned its keep over the time I’ve had it mate hah! Umm I think it took around an hour and a half in total mate. Yeah you could do that the problem with that is the grass wasn’t discharging at all hah! Was just clogging up in the chute/cylinder so it wouldn’t have come out anyways and you still would of had to pull the grass out the chute, so my thinking was I’d rather pull it into the basket then onto the ground to then rake it up again hah! Thanks for the comment!

@@Grasscutplus no worries bro 💪🏼💪🏼
I feel your pain. I use the wheeled version of that mower commercially and they’re surprisingly good in the wet, but a job like that is nasty.
Hiya mate thanks for the support! Yeah they are really good mowers! Hah yeah you could chuck any mower in this and it’s not going to be pretty hah! Thanks again!!
Surely you'd of been better cutting on highest setting then reducing cut height & cutting it a second time. Much less stress on machine
Hiya mate! That’s is on its highest setting hah! Goes up to 79mm mate! But that’s for the comment.
I hope that you get paid with the same urgency that they required the work.
Thanks for the comment mate!! Hah yeah they did! They actually paid pretty quick for a commercial client hah!
These are the jobs where the etesia mowers would work wonders
Hiya! Thanks for the comment! Yes I’ve seen lots of good things about them! Honda is a good old work horse though!
Great job, nice to know you’re close by, our main area is Maidenhead. Have to grab you a pint sometime 😂
