It's so refreshing to see a YT vid that is not perfect and not have the appearance of everything going perfectly. I appreciate the honesty as someone new to the business. Well done fella ... You're inspiring a 50 year old ex desk jockey who is starting something new. 👍 👍
Hiya mate thanks for the comment! Really appreciate it! Haha yeah I try and keep it real with you guys! It’s not always easy haha! Things can go wrong quite often! Thanks for the support and watching mate!
Your mower has built-in overload circuit protection, so it might just been a little hot and took a short nap. I still use a petrol mower and a Husqvarna Rider 4WD which is great since I change the cutting deck for a snow plow for the winter. Been thinking of bying a electric mower but I’m leaning towards the Milwaukee M18. I’ve got the Milwaukee M18 pruning saw and the M12 pruning shears which are fantastic tools. Another great tool is the Husqvarna 535LK with exchangeable heads. Use it for trimming, cutting hedges, sweeping, trimming trees (with extension attached). I sometimes use a 3 plane laser when cutting hedges. You’ll get amazing results (but since it’s a laser it works best during evenings).
I always take two petrol lawn mowers out. One of my Rover mowers and my Husqvarna mulcher mower. just in case something goes wrong with one you still got one to fall back on
Im in Australia and am using primarily Kress gear now and have used it in the rain many times with no problem at all. Kress gear also have stupid amounts of power so long and wet grass i never have an issuse. It really is just the cost, but you can't beat their warranty on commercial range.
Damn I feel for you, I've had my mower break down before so I've had to strim and rake the rest of the day 😭 I always carry 2 mowers in the van now as a precaution
Hiya mate glad to see you!!!! Glad to hear you’re so busy!! Things happen mate!! Grass looked really good for having it cut by the strimmer! Wouldn’t even a known myself! Good job mate!
nope would not have known it was strimmed. luckily we always have 3 mowers in the van, not keen on new builds, everyone I have started at the beginning of the year, has ended half wway through because they grass is over fed when put down, grows like mad, then dies.
We run both petrol and electric for the very reason! We do cut in the rain so have to use the pet gear in the rain!! We run stihl gear! Hope you are ok and the move went well!
I really felt for you doing this job - so many times my Husband goes to use the Karcher and it plays up and makes the job twice as hard! And yes he hates cables too! Our cordless mower is an Ebauer and it dies if it gets too wet so it’s obviously a thing! I’d suggest 3 shorter videos for the 3 day job as 15-20 minutes is a nice length. 👍🏻
Hiya mate! Do one king video! Like your week in the life video! I like those long ones! I’ve watched it a couple times now lol! Keep up the good work!!
Ahh mate when one thing goes wrong it seems to follow by another doesn’t it, but glad you managed to complete the job 👍 hopefully better day tomorrow, about the video I think separate into 3 smaller vids as usually and I’m being honest if it’s really long I normally fast forward but with shorter ones I watch without fast forward😅 just being honest mate have a good few days👍
Hi mate do a 3 part on that digger job keeps people wanting to come back for more Harley at HD GARDEN CARE done that was really good Another great video Brad 💚🙌🏼😎☀️
Basically you have the 2 worst mowers for wet days, Ego and Honda. Stihl and Masport roller mowers give cracking stripes, while excellent collection in wet or dry days. Stihl 4 wheel mowers also great wet collection but like the etesia not a very nice cut.
As a gardener I don’t work in the rain. I have a 21 inch Allen Flymo………..it’s the sort of thing would have been useful backup in a situation like that……….cost me £150 and it’s bulletproof!
Your a breath of fresh air you make cutting lawns a breeze. Keep up the good work 👏
Ayyy thanks man!! I really appreciate mate! Thanks for the comment!

Get an etesia pro 46 for mowing wet grass bud it’s a real game changer 👌🏼
Yeah! Needs to be a finishing mower mate! I’ll be replacing the Honda so needs to have the roller!
@@Grasscutplus I hear you bro I use 4 wheeler when wet and rear roller Honda in the dry 👌🏼
Ayyyyy good to see you mate! Love your uploads! I’ve cut in the rain with the ego mower and has been ok! Strange! Hope you’re well!

Cheers mate! Hahah! Yeah felt for myself!
My ego battery turns all red when it struggles in wet conditions. Just seems to reset itself after a while. Definitely a ball ache though.
Yeah I’ve not had that before! It’s all working now so hopefully it keeps working!!
My kubota 448hw has never failed in the rain. There is a lesson there somewhere.
Yeah mate! Thanks for watching!
Hiya mate! Love your cornet mate!!!! Glad to see you back!! I think the egos are shower resistant! Is it working ok now? Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the support mate! Yeah I’ve cut in the rain before! Works ok now! Hah! Maybe it didn’t wanna work that day lol!!

I would say either STIHL or toro pro stripe
Good vid mate! Pretty sure the ego has an ip rating mate should be ok in light rain!! Good work as always!!

Haha yeah I know! I will be swapping the Honda later on in the year! But for now I will carry on with it as the better weather is now coming in!!
Would you give the customer a bit of a discount as you had to strim the lawn rather than mow it?
Hiya mate thanks for the comment! Ummmmm no mate I wouldn’t! As I know I can get it looking as good as it would be with a mower.
As a gardener I don’t work in the rain. I have a 21 inch Allen Flymo………..it’s the sort of thing would have been useful backup in a situation like that……….cost me £150 and it’s bulletproof!
